Prior to the sold-out closing weekend of the international touring production of National Artists Felipe De Leon and Guillermo Tolentino's magnum opus 'Noli Me Tangere: The Opera,' which played the Newport Performing Arts Theatre at Resorts World Manila, BroadwayWorld.com was able to sit down with the production's longtime stars Antoni Mendezona (Maria Clara, Sisa) and Sal Malaki (Juan Crisostomo Ibarra), who have been part of the production since its New York premiere in the fall of 2013.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra presents Brahms's Requiem on October 10-12, 2014 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. It will feature an incomparable cast led by our own Plácido Domingo in his first Los Angeles performance as Giorgio Germont, the dazzling Nino Machaidze in her role debut as Violetta and the dashing Arturo Chacón-Cruz as Alfredo Germont. The 1920s come roaring to life in Marta Domingo's updated Art Deco-inspired production under the inspired baton of James Conlon.

Washington National Opera (WNO) presents An Evening with Stephen Costello and Ailyn Pe?rez, featuring the celebrated husband-and-wife stars of last season's production of The Elixir of Love, tonight, September 10, 2014 in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. Texas Performing Arts welcomes back the ensemble that has virtually redefined the sound of the classic wind quintet, the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet. For this performance, Van Cliburn Gold Medal-winning pianist Jon Nakamatsu joins the quintet. According to the New York Times, Ravinia Festival music director James Conlon announced that he will depart his position after the 2015 season. He told NYT: "I have worked year-round, including every summer, since 1974. There are things I wish to accomplish, both musical and personal, and I need dedicated time to realize these projects."
