Theatre and Dance at Wayne Announces 2021-2022 Season

Lovers of dark comedy and the art of theatre will enjoy the October production of “Everybody”, the runner up for the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. “The Snow Queen”, Hans Christian Andersen's original fairy tale adapted by Tyler J. Monroe, will captivate families and friends with its magic and mysticism. “Fairview”, the winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, will evoke strong emotion and create lasting impact on viewers' thoughts and beliefs. Fans of The Go-Go's and lovers of laughter and fun alike will go crazy for “Head Over Heels” – a musical sensation by James Magruder and Jeff Whitty.

Donmar Warehouse Announces Reopening Season: Kit Harington in HENRY V, Rory Kinnear in FORCE MAJEURE, and More!

The Donmar Warehouse reopens in September, following a programme of essential works to replace key infrastructure within the venue, including the lift, plant, ventilation and air cooling. In addition, the works will significantly improve the accessibility of the Donmar through the installation of a street level ramp, automated front doors and more open and inclusive front of house spaces.

It was just announced by the Pulitzer Prize organization that Katori Hall's The Hot Wing King has officially won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This year's finalists included Circle Jerk by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley and Stew by Zora Howard.

After a pause in in-person performances that began in March 2020, Trinity Repertory Company has announced a return to in-person theater production beginning in November 2021. A shortened 2021-22 Season will begin with Trinity Rep’s 44th annual production of A Christmas Carol.

The 2021 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to U.S. playwright Erika Dickerson-Despenza for her play about the Flint, Michigan water crisis, cullud wattah. Awarded annually since 1977, The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize is the largest and oldest international prize honoring Women+ playwrights.
