The electrifying evening of festivities included a reception emceed by Paul Milliken from FOX 5 Atlanta, a sumptuous dinner, a medley performed by Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards winner Heritage High School, and a performance of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Million Dollar Quartet. A Film Celebration of James Caan Opens 5/19

For two glittering weekends at the end of May, the world turns its attention to the movie event of the year: TheCaan Film Festival at Museum of the Moving Image. In celebration of the Bronx-born, Sunnyside-raised, and Sanford Meisner-instructed actor, the film series revisits twelve of James Caan's greatest performances, from May 19 through 28, with nearly all films presented in 35mm. The films feature performances for such great directors as Francis Ford Coppola, Howard Hawks, Michael Mann, Sam Peckinpah, Mark Rydell, Norman Jewison, Wes Anderson, and James Gray.

Chatterbox Audio Theater Releases 2014 Halloween Broadcast

Chatterbox Audio Theater, Memphis' only web-based theater company, is proud to announce the release of our 2014 HALLOWEEN SHOW, which was performed and recorded Friday, October 31, while being broadcast live on 91.1 WKNO-FM (Memphis) and 90.1 WKNP (Jackson) and streamed live on www.wknofm.org. The 90-minute show, intended for adults and older teens, marks a return to our tradition of a producing a live Halloween show dedicated to carrying listeners into the dark realms of audio horror. West End's TWELVE ANGRY MEN Extends Through 15 March

Following several sold-out performances since it opened in November 2013, Bill Kenwright's critically acclaimed new West End production of TWELVE ANGRY MEN, starring Martin Shaw, Jeff Fahey, Nick Moran and Robert Vaughn, will extend its run at the Garrick Theatre for an extra two weeks, finishing 15 March 2014.

Westport Country Playhouse to Screen Woody Allen's BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, 10/6

To kick off its production of the show business farce "Room Service," Westport Country Playhouse will host a free film screening of another backstage comedy, "Bullets Over Broadway," directed by Woody Allen, on Sunday, October 6, 4 p.m., in the Playhouse's Sheffer Studio. The screening is free-of-charge by reservation through the Playhouse box office at 203-227-4177. Free popcorn and beverages will be available.
