De vakjury, bestaande uit Jon van Eerd, Hilde Scholten, Arno Gelder, Dianne Zuidema, Joy Kreiken, Maurice Luttikhuis, Michiel de Regt, Henriëtte Tol en Rennie Rijpma, heeft in 19 verschillende categorieën de winnaars verkozen. Grote winnaar is Disney's Aladdin met 7 awards. Aladdin ontving ook nog de Leukstetickets.nl Publieksprijs voor Beste Musical 2022, deze award werd uitgereikt door Stanley Burleson. De musical The Rocky Horror Show ontving de award voor Beste Kleine Musical en 14 de musical ontving de award voor Beste Nederlands Oorspronkelijke Musical.
Hershey Theatre today announced a full lineup of spectacular Broadway touring productions for the 2022-23 Broadway Series, a flagship season for the historic venue.
Rachel Tucker, who is currently starring as Captain Beverley Bass in Come From Away on Broadway, will leave the production for two months to star in Season 2 of the TV show Hope Street.
The Lied Center for Performing Arts has announced the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its Lincoln, NE debut at the Lied Center for a limited engagement on April 27- May 1.
Come From Away is set to play at the Center Theatre Group. Previews begin May 31. The production opens June 1 and plays through June 12, 2022. Tuesday through Friday performances are at 8 p.m., Saturday performances are at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday's are at 1 and 6:30 p.m. There are no Monday performances. Tickets range from $40 – $150. This afternoon, Broadway veteran Joel Hatch has played his final show with the company of the hit musical, Come From Away. A member of the original cast, Joel Hatch has been with the show since it opened on Broadway just over five years ago on March 12th, 2017. He portrayed 'Claude & others' other characters throughout the production. Gene Weygandt will begin performances in the roles on Tuesday, March 22. Gene joins the company directly from the Australia cast of Come From Away.
