Eliya Smith's world premiere play Dad Don't Read This, directed by Chloe Claudel and starring Drama Desk winner Amalia Yoo, has extended its limited run at St. Luke's Theatre.

Following the breakout success of her Off-Broadway debut Grief Camp, playwright Eliya Smith will bring audiences deeper into the lives of teenagers with the world premiere of Dad Don’t Read This.

HAMLET is set to take the stage at the Collapsable Hole, offering a fresh interpretation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy.

Lisa Clair Group, in association with Immediate Medium and in collaboration with New Georges, will present Willa’s Authentic Self, a musical, monstrous, and maximalist re-imagining of the ancient Jewish Golem myth.

New Georges will kick off its 30th Anniversary season with a one-night-only special presentation of bb brecht’s Holiday Yuletide Spectacular, created by Miranda Haymon. On Wednesday December 14, 2022, audiences are invited to spend their holiday party season with bb brecht and his friends at Dixon Place.

Next Chapter Podcasts and Fiasco Theater have teamed up for a new Play on Podcasts production of Measure for Measure, in modern verse translation by Aditi Brennan Kapil. The series will be released in weekly installments, which began on October 28, and will conclude on December 9.

After a lifetime overthinking every second of every day, cabarettist Molly Pope sets up camp at the Duplex to search for the one thing that has always escaped her: a good time.  Armed with the two things absolutely necessary for a good timea?"a gay man and a piano a?" she draws on a trove of old songs, new songs, and why-the-hell-not songs in changing mostly sets.

Gun violence is the focus in the wildly experimental digital puppetry show, Fear in the Western World.  A couple and their daughter are looking for a new home.  They find one in Nesthaven, a gated community.  There are lots of problems outside.  A community website posts about the dangers.  At one point, we hear they've 'got to build taller fences around Nesthaven.'

Directed by Eugene Ma (The Baltimore Waltz, Oregon Shakespeare Festival; Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid, CSV Cultural Center), The Making of King Kong is a theatrical journey into the cultural monster behind the myth. The play takes a brutal look at America's history of white patriarchy, imperialism, and sexism through the eyes of original King Kong creators Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack, and Hollywood starlet Fay Wray.
