What did our critic think of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Orpheum Theatre Memphis?

There were so many magical moments with this show that it is hard to keep track of them all. Teh opening set the stage and With this opening, the show creates a magical bond with the audience, one that would not be broken until long after leaving the theater.

The National Tour production of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' is a fun show with a sincere love for the story it is telling, and it honors that with care and joy while helping bring the story to new and returning audiences alike.

Beauty and the Beast undoubtedly has a very important place in Broadway history. For Disney Theatricals, it was the show that started it all, and proved that there was an appetite on Broadway for family fare.

Disney is developing a new spin-off movie centering on the fan-favorite villain Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. The studio has recruited Dave Callaham to write the screenplay, with Michelle Rejwan set as a producer.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Bass Concert Hall dazzles with flawless tech, lush visuals, and choreography that hits like a burst of joy. The cast shines, the magic lands, and the nostalgia is real. Just be ready to chat with your kids about the story’s dated messaging. Spectacle soars, but the morals need a closer look.

Broadway’s original 'Belle,' Susan Egan, surprised the Beauty & the Beast tour's Kyra Belle Johnson, along with the entire North American touring company. The two Belles performed a special rendition of the titular song in Nashville. Watch the video!

Could Schmigadoon! be returning? A verified Instagram account with the handle @schmigadoon has released a new teaser, possibly hinting that the beloved series could have something in store for its future.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will enchant audiences in Kansas City when it arrives at Music Hall October 28–November 2, 2025. The beloved Broadway classic will star Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle and Fergie L. Philippe as the Beast.

Based on Disney's 1991 Academy Award-winning animated film musical of the same name as well as Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s classic French fairy tale. Beauty & the Beast follows Belle, a bright, beautiful young woman who doesn't seem to fit in with her village.

'Tale as old as time,' the lyric goes in the heart warming production of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST now playing at Shea's Buffalo Theatre. I knew I was in good hands when the sparkling new production of the beloved classic begins with Angela Lansbury's voice reciting the story that has captured children's minds for years.
