​​​​​​​Irondale, now celebrating forty years of artistically ambitious, cutting-edge theatre, presents live performances, excerpts, and discussion around their 2012 original production of Color Between the Lines with Behind the Scenes and Between the Lines, Saturday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m.

 Though the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra remains hopeful that it will once again play for live audiences soon, today the orchestra announces the extension of its BPOnDemand virtual performance series through the end of the 2020-21 concert season in June.

Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the shift to virtual programming with BPOOnDemand.

Performances start next week for the Alliance Theatre's family production, NAKED MOLE RAT GETS DRESSED: THE ROCK EXPERIENCE, with book and lyrics by award-winning author and illustrator Mo Willems (Knuffle Bunny, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, the Elephant and Piggie series) and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Elephant and Piggie's: We Are In A Play, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical).  Get a peek inside the first day of rehearsal!

An inspiring story reaches its climax this month when local dancer Henry Ward returns to his home county as part of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance post-graduate company, which brings the show VERVE to Stantonbury Theatre on Friday 8 March.

Out Front Theatre Company is proud to open its third season with the Southeastern premiere of The View UpStairs. With book, music and lyrics by Max Vernon, The View UpStairs tells the story of Wes, a young fashion designer from 2018, who buys an abandoned building in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Upon entering the space, he finds himself transported to the UpStairs Lounge, a vibrant '70s gay bar. As this forgotten community comes to life, Wes embarks on an exhilarating journey of self-exploration that spans two generations of queer history. Running October 25-Novemer 10, The View UpStairs asks what has been gained and lost in the fight for equality, and how the past can help guide all of us through an uncertain future.

Last night, a one-night-only concert of the short-lived musical ONWARD VICTORIA was presented at Feinstein's/54 Below. The 1980 musical chronicles the life of the first female candidate for President of the United States, Victoria Woodhull. Scroll down for photos from the event!

To celebrate the life of Victoria Woodhull and promote ONWARD VICTORIA, the team created a hashtag: #34DaysOfVictoriaWoodhull. The first female Presidential candidate was only 34 when she ran for President in 1872. For 34 days, facts from her remarkable life were shared. BroadwayWorld has exclusive access to all 34 below!

As previously announced, a one-night-only concert of the short-lived musical ONWARD VICTORIA will be presented at Feinstein's/54 Below tonight, July 19th at 7:00pm. The show's original star, Jill Eikenberry, will narrate the evening and join composer Keith Herrmann (Romance/Romance) for a song from the show.
