THE GREATEST PIRATE STORY NEVER TOLD! is a madcap, musical adventure that revolves around Captain Henry Martin and his stalwart crew, who have been flung in to the future by a befuddled sea witch to perform the greatest pirate epic ever seen on stage. But with their script torn asunder, these pirates-turned-players are forced to improvise their show as it unfolds, based upon the audience's suggestions.'

Off Sides Entertainment Inc. has announced that after highly successful runs at Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (garnering 10 award nominations, including Best Musical) and the Crown and Anchor Theatre in Provincetown, MA, an open-ended run of Christopher Leidenfrost's new half-scripted/half-improvised musical comedy, THE GREATEST PIRATE STORY NEVER TOLD! Rated Arrrrrrr! will run at the Snapple Theater Center on Broadway. The production is now in previews and will officially open on Thursday, December 5th at 8:00 p.m. The adult 'Rated ARRRRRRR!' show will play Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. and a specifically family-friendly version will run on Saturdays at 11AM. Symphony Space, New York's home for innovative and diverse cultural programming on the Upper West Side, celebrates its 35th season of Music programs in 2013-14 with a stellar array of artists in imaginative, thought-provoking presentations. Curated by Artistic Director Laura Kaminsky, the offerings range from marathon celebrations to intimate recitals, encompassing a rich variety of musical styles. Highlights include a visit from Krzysztof Penderecki, October 25; the fifth THE MUSIC OF NOW MARATHON, with the dream-inspired theme of 'REM: Rapid Ear Movement,' February 1; and appearances by Dar Williams, Tom Paxton, Christine Lavin, and other icons of folk/acoustic music. From the tiny land of Who-Ville to the Jungle of Nool, Seuss's timeless tales leap from page to stage. Seussical first opened on Broadway in the fall of 2000. In 2004, it was reworked by Theatreworks USA, streamlining the story and retooling some of the songs and dialogue. The new version has enjoyed huge success across two US tours, a run in London's West End, and in children's theaters across the country, including NWCT, which previously produced the show in 2006.
