Off Sides Entertainment, Inc. has announced that after the critically-acclaimed eight-month, off-Broadway run and first national tour of their interactive, improvised musical, THE GREATEST PIRATE STORY NEVER TOLD!, their merry band of singing pirates will return to the Snapple Theater Center with an all new production: THE GREATEST PIRATE HOLIDAY SPECTACULARRR! The production will open on Saturday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. for a strictly limited holiday engagement of only ten performances. Co-authors Christopher and Rick Leidenfrost-Wilson will direct. THE GREATEST PIRATE HOLIDAY SPECTACULARRR! is a madcap, musical retelling of the holiday classic "A Christmas Carol" with a piratical twist! However, with only a partial script, these pirates-turned-players must improvise a brand new holiday adventure based upon audience suggestions! Will five pirates, three ghosts, a bumbling Sea Witch and Charles Dickens himself be able to tell the tale before time runs out?

Returning to the cast at the Snapple Theater Center are Christopher Leidenfrost, Kevin Maphis, and Emily Rouch. New cast members include Olivia Harding, Rick Leidenfrost-Wilson and Marc Mills.

"I love this show," says one of the show's creators, Christopher Leidenfrost. "Between the piratical elements and the improvisation, this is a completely original retelling of one of the most famous holiday stories ever written. It's quite literally a different show every time! There's something for everyone: sword-fighting, slapstick, terrific music, and an amazingly gifted cast of improvisers who sling jokes that are both for the kids and some just for the grown-ups (who sometimes get more in to calling out suggestions than their children!)"

Christopher Leidenfrost (Co-Writer/Captain Henry Martin) is a musical theatre and improv performer who has spent the last ten years as a professional pirate, traversing North America and the Caribbean with pistol and cutlass in tow. His "Greatest Pirate" shows are the culmination of each of his passions brought together: musicals, improv and pirates. He has written and directed pirate-themed entertainments for the Oregon Renaissance Festival of Hillsboro, Pirates of the Hudson Festival, the New York Renaissance Faire, and his own company, Off Sides Entertainment, Inc. (including Island Federal Credit Union's award-winning "Tell Your Bank to Walk the Plank" campaign). He has most recently appeared as Dr. Alan Campbell in MTWorks "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and Captain Henry Martin in the Off Broadway and national tour productions of "The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told!" In 2012, his portrayal of Whizzer in his Off Sides' revival of "Falsettos" at the Bleecker Street Theatre earned him a Best Supporting Actor award from Planet Connections Theatre Festivity.

Rick Leidenfrost-Wilson (Co-Writer/Charles Dickens) has performed and directed internationally, regionally, and in New York. Regional directing have included Oklahoma! and The King and I for Lakes Region Summer Theatre, The Children's Hour for Lantern Theatre, and the 2012 revival of Falsettos, which played at the Bleecker Street Theatre (which won the Planet Connections Award for Outstanding Revival. He has also directed his own productions of Hockey: the musical! in Toronto and The Declaration at the Robert Moss (for which he won the Outstanding Theatre Activist Award for his work with Marriage Equality New York and the Stonewall Veterans Association).
