Off Broadway's interactive, improvised musical The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told!, written by Christopher Leidenfrost and directed by Rick Leidenfrost-Wilson, has been extended for a second time, and continues to commandeer the Snapple Theater Center's Jerry Orbach Theater every Saturday at 11 a.m.

Greatest Pirate Story is a hilarious, never-before-seen combination of short-form improvisation set within the framework of a scripted, swashbuckling musical comedy. The narrative follows Captain Henry Martin and his misfit pirate crew, who have been flung in to the future by a befuddled sea witch. Now, their only chance of returning home is performing the greatest pirate epic ever seen on stage! However, when part of their script is obscured by the ink of an angry squid, these pirates-turned-players are forced to improvise their musical adventure as it unfolds, based upon the audience's suggestions. Theatergoers of all ages will walk away laughing from this madcap musical that is never the same show twice!

The Greatest Pirate Story Never Told! features Lindsay Ackerman, David Anthony, Christopher Leidenfrost, Kevin Maphis and Emily Rouch, and includes set design by Katy Roberts, lighting design by Christopher Weston, sound design by Denis Zepeda, choreography by Risa Petrone, fight choreography by Randy Kiersnowski and costumes by Scott McNeill. Kristi Leigh is the stage manager.
