Homeward LA is a 10-day citywide event from April 26 - May 5, where multiple productions of monologues based on stories from people who have experienced homelessness will be performed by actors all around the city. Join The Group Rep for one of over 50 productions happening throughout the Los Angeles area! Together we will experience stories from the lives of those who strive to find their way home, increase awareness around the homeless crisis facing Los Angeles, and raise funds for The Midnight Mission, an amazing nonprofit organization on Skid Row.  Some material contains adult themes and language.

Greenway Arts Alliance (Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz, Co-Founders and Co-Artistic Directors) and Urban Theatre Movement (Paul Tully, Artistic Director and Gisla Stringer, Company Manager) present the world premiere of YERMA IN THE DESERT by Oliver Mayer (Off-Broadway's Blade to the Heat at The Public Theater) and co-directed by Marlene Forte and Edgar Landa. Urban Theatre Movement is the first Los Angeles theatre company recipient of Greenway Arts Alliance's Greenway Residency Program, created in celebration of GAA's 20th Anniversary Celebration. YERMA IN THE DESERT will open to the press at Greenway Court Theatre (544 N. Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles) on Friday, November 17 and play through December 16, 2017.

?CASA 0101 Theater will present a Panel Discussion on the subject of physical abuse following the 5:00 p.m. Matinee performance of the play DRUNK GIRL on Sunday, October 11, 2015 on the Main Stage of the CASA 0101 Theater, 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street), Boyle Heights, CA 90033.  Discussion Panelists with include select members of the cast and production team of DRUNK GIRL, along with representatives from the Survivor's Network of Those Abused by Priests, Alcoholics Anonymous and the East Los Angeles Women's Center.

CASA 0101 Theater continues its 15th 'Quinceañera' Anniversary Season by presenting the World Premiere of DRUNK GIRL and other stories your mother warned you about becoming, written by Josefina Lopez, with additional plays written by Rocio Diaz and Libette Garcia. The production will be presented on the theater's Main Stage located at 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street across the street from the Hollenbeck Police Station), Boyle Heights, CA 90033 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., September 25 - October 18, 2015. A $10 Discounted Preview performance will be given on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
