A new summer concert series will bring both top food trucks and well-known jazz musicians to Dolan Performance Hall on the campus of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown. With easy access from Route 24 at Convent Station, plenty of free parking, and excellent acoustics, Dolan Hall is a great music venue and having food trucks on campus starting at 5:30 will add to the festive atmosphere.

Sultry songstress Abigail Rockwell debuts her Autumn Noir show at Birdland Theater - Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 7 pm. Rockwell's voice has been compared to Morgana King and Julie London, her new album described by Chris Spector of Midwest Record as 'wonderfully out of the ordinary due solely to her interpretive skills and style, Autumn Noir is the high water mark for all vocalists to come to follow'. David Kenney of WBAI 99.5 FM's Everything Old Is New Again Radio Show in New York selected Autumn Noir as one of his top holiday picks of 2018. Rockwell first began performing at the Four Seasons Resort - The Biltmore in Montecito, CA, she premiered in Los Angeles at Tar Pit, opened by Top Chef Mark Peel. She then made it back east and had her New York City debut at the celebrated Metropolitan Room.

TCU Announces 42nd Annual Jazz Festival Featuring Duffy Jackson

One of the Southwest's largest jazz festivals will return to Texas Christian University March 22-23, 2019, for its 42nd year, featuring legendary American jazz drummer Duffy Jackson to the exciting theme, "Tribute to the music of Count Basie and Buddy Rich." The 2019 TCU Jazz Festival will host more than 700 middle and high school students at Ed Landreth Auditorium and PepsiCo Recital Hall during the annual competition, encompassing two days of performances from some of the most highly-regarded names in jazz, TCU ensembles and young artists from across the state.

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes back world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and singer Jessica Molaskey, a duo Time Magazine calls the "Astaire-Rodgers of the cabaret world." Bay Area Cabaret audiences will have the chance to see, or choose between, two varied programs: The first, at 3:30 is a centennial tribute to Nat King Cole, a Venetian Room regular, whose work is celebrated on Mr. Pizzarelli's upcoming CD, Centenially Yours. The second show, American Stories, at 7:30, is a duo show by John and his talented wife Jessica that debuted at Cafe Carlyle and features an eclectic mix of music by George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Nicks and the couple's signature mashups and medleys. The Eighth Annual Bickford Benefit Concert featuring an all-star ensemble of outstanding jazz artists from the Tri-State area comes to the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum for one night only on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 7:30 PM. The ensemble includes trumpeter/vocalist Bria Skonberg, cornetist Warren Vache, trombonist Mariel Bildsten, clarinetist Dan Levinson, pianist Rossano Sportiello, guitarist/vocalist Molly Ryan, bassist Rob Adkins, and drummer Mark McLean. All of the ticket sales from this concert will go to support programming at the Bickford Theatre.

Husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey make their annual fall pilgrimage to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show, American Stories, November 6-17. The New York Times recently described John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey as "the supreme nightclub act of our time." A world-renowned guitarist and singer, John Pizzarelli has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years and has established himself as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook. Jessica Molaskey is a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Sunday in the Park with George, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards.
