On Thursday, June 28th, Los Angeles theatre lovers were given a gift of a very rare and unique experience that took them back in time, when the Broadway theatre scene in downtown Los Angeles used to rival that of New York's Great White Way. An eclectic list of Hollywood representatives have been known to take Red Lines walking tours of the silver screen capital's Hollywood Boulevard. It was an equally impressive list of individuals who gathered for the recent tour of Broadway theatres, including JoAnne Worley, Erin Murphy, Michael Learned, and many others. On Wednesday night, the Paley Center featured these incredible talents as well as gathering many more in the audience for the Los Angeles premiere screening of 'Carol Channing: Larger Than Life.' The panel members, who also appear in the critically acclaimed documentary, gathered with other friends, colleagues and fans of the woman who has been dubbed, and deservingly so, 'The First Lady of Musical Theatre.' Seen among those in attendance were a who's who of TONY, OSCAR, EMMY & GOLDEN GLOBE award winners including George Chakiris, Charles Fox, Davis Gaines, Ilene Graff, Tippi Hedren, Michael Learned, Kate Linder, Julie Newmar, Connie Stevens, Ruta Lee, Rose Marie, Richard Skipper, Barbara Van Orden, Dee Wallace and co-producer, B. Harlan Boll, to enjoy a film that also featured such noted industry greats as Loni Anderson, Marge Champion, Tyne Daly, Jerry Herman, Angela Lansbury, Bob Mackie, Margaret O'Brien, Debbie Reynolds, Chita Rivera, Tommy Tune, Barbara Walters and many more.

'Next stop, Carmel CA,' announced Betty Buckley as she wrapped a truly spectacular cabaret concert entitled 'AH MEN! The Boys of Broadway' in the historic lobby of the Pantages Theatre. The sold out benefit for The Actors Fund featured 'Many of my favorite songs that I would otherwise never be able to sing on Broadway ... because they were written for men.' Arrangements that included 'I Can See,' 'My Defenses Are Down,' and both the 'Jet Song' and 'Maria' from WESTSIDE STORY, as well as 'Luck Be A Lady,' 'Hey There,' 'Come Back to Me,' and a SWEENY TODD medley. Ms. Buckley introduced a new arrangement that received with wild enthusiasm from the patrons, entitled 'A Hymn to Her' and dedicated to the question, 'Why can't women play famous Broadway roles written for men?' Among the men Buckley credited with influencing her most were the brilliant Russ Tamblyn, the graceful Fred Astaire and the very sexy Gene Kelly. Among those in attendance were colleagues and friends such as Ruta Lee, Alley Mills, Orson Bean, Juliet Mills, Maxwell Caulfield, and fellow TV Mom Marion Ross, among other industry notables like Tony Hoover (Hollywood Red-Line Tours owner), B. Harlan Boll (Publicist/Author/Producer), Patricia Kelly (wife of the late Gene Kelly) and the evening's producers John Bowab and Martin Wiviott.

A tribute to entertainments supporting cast of cars, included a television icon, a screen legend and sexy stage siren.

Broadway's Carol Channing was featured at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in the world premiere of a docuentary titled 'Carol Channing: Larger Than Life.' The film was directed by Dori Berinstein and written by Dori Berinstein and Adam Zucker. The film was received by the audience with great enthusiasm. At the end of the screening there was a Q&A with Dori Berinstein, the film's director, Carol Channing, her husband Harry Kullijian, producer B. Harlan Boll, and others involved in the project. Earlier this week, The Southern California Motion Picture Council (SCMPC) hosted their annual Golden Halo Awards. The 2010 honoree was performer, publicist, speaker, writer and activist, B. Harlan Boll.

On Monday, March 15th, The Actors Fund presented the next in their series of Musical Mondays in the lobby of the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

A SOLD OUT audience greeted Mr. Curtis on Sunday, Jan 31st, 2010 as the next featured artist in the highly anticipated and popular LEGEND SERIES held at the Magic Castle. The series was developed to celebrate the life and careers of some of stage and screens greatest Icons. The response has been overwhelming with previous guest appearances including Phyllis Diller, Rose Marie and Tippi Hedren that were hosted by B. Harlan Boll.

Arguably the most recognizable of Alfred Hitchcock's famous blondes, Tippi Hedren, has had an active and enviable career for more than 60 years. On Jan 19th, 2010 the screen icon celebrated her 80th birthday with both public and private gatherings. Her daughter and son-in-law (Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas) threw an intimate gathering at their home for family and friends, while fans and colleagues gathered in the Palace of Mystery Theatre at the world famous Magic Castle for a Q&A as part of the very popular Legend Series with host B. Harlan Boll. The program unveiled details about the actress pertaining to her childhood, career and activism that many in the audience were surprised to hear.

On Sunday, Sept 6th, the Altadena Community Church (ACC) was honored and pleased to present Miss Carol Channing in a very special, one-night-only, benefit concert. Channing graciously offered to lend her support when she learned that the 70-year-old landmark church was in dire need of a new roof and repairs to their original stained glass windows.
