WP Theater Announces The Pipeline Festival Complete Lineup

Women's Project Theater, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Maureen Moynihan, is thrilled to announce the complete lineup for the inaugural Pipeline Festival, showcasing the work of the celebrated WP Lab residency for playwrights, directors and producers from March 24 - April 23 at the McGinn/ Cazale Theater at Broadway & 76th Street.

En Garde Arts Kicks Off BOSSS Festival This Weekend

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "24@54' on May 25 at 9:30pm. Hosted by Obie award winning writer-composer Polly Pen (Bed and Sofa, Arlington) it will feature original songs from NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program's cycle 24. Proceeds for the concert will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Organizer Marella Martin says, "This concert represents our public entry into the musical theatre community. We are so happy that the proceeds will go to benefit that community through Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS"

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a free staged reading of Need to Know, by Jon Caren, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, Sunday May 10th at 6pm at SoHo House in Manhattan. The cast for the reading includes Katya Campbell (Disgraced, Broadway), Michael Cyril Creighton (Stage Kiss, Playwrights Horizons), and Michael Esper (The Last Ship, Broadway). The event is hosted by Sam Goldberg.

Ars Nova Now Accepting Applications for Play Group 2015

Ars Nova is now accepting applications for Play Group, a vibrant and eclectic group of emerging writers who gather twice a month at Ars Nova to share new work and get peer feedback. The group offers members the chance to develop their plays with peer support; to be inspired by each other's work; to form collaborative relationships; and to build a strong sense of community within Ars Nova. All emerging playwrights are eligible for membership. If selected, new members will be invited to join for a period of two years beginning in January of 2015.

Hunter (Backstage's 2014 Future Broadway Power List) and directed by Davis McCallum, will extend two weeks through Saturday, June 21 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place.
