Rattlestick's THE FEW Opens Off-Broadway Tonight

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long present the New York premiere of The Few, written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by Davis McCallum, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, 224 Waverly Place. The official opening night is set for tonight, May 8 at 7pm; The Few is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 8.

Colt Coeur to Present Staged Reading of Ryan King's LOVE SHACK IN '87, 4/9

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a free staged reading of Love Shack in '87 by Ryan King, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, April 9th at 7:15pm at SoHo House in Manhattan. The cast for the reading includes Nadia Gan (Golden Child), Genesis Oliver (Everything is Ours, Colt Coeur), Matt Stadelmann (The Grown-Up, Humana), Chris Thorn (Twelfth Night, Pig Iron), and Joe Tippett (Ashville, Rattlestick). The event is hosted by Erica Rotstein and Sam Goldberg.

Ars Nova to Offer Reading of Erica Saleh's GCHAT PLAY, 4/2

Erica Saleh's plays have been produced and developed by theaters including Ensemble Studio Theatre, The 52nd Street Project, Studio 42, 3 Graces and The Claque. She is the recipient of a Michener Fellowship and commissions from the EST/SLOAN project and Dramatics Magazine. Erica is a member of the Ars Nova Play Group, the Ensemble Studio Theatre, and an alumna of Youngblood. She is a graduate of the Michener Center at the University of Texas and Brown University.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel Reading Series to Feature SHE RODE HORSES LIKE THE STOCK EXCHANGE Tonight

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel reading series will present a free staged reading of She Rode Horses Like the Stock Exchange by Amelia Roper, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, January 28th at 7pm at SoHo House in Manhattan. The cast for the reading includes McCaleb Burnett (Scarcity, Rattlestick), Katya Campbell (How to Make Friends and then Kill Them, Rattlestick), Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'), and Matt Stadelmann (The Grown-Up, Humana). The event is hosted by Sam Goldberg and Julia Jones.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel Series Presents Two Staged Readings Today

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel series presents staged readings of a boy put this girl in a cage with a dog and the dog killed the girl by Clare Barron, directed by Stella Powell-Jones & Umma Lappa Soon by Claire Kiechel, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt. Today, October 28th, 6pm (Barron play) & 8pm (Kiechel play). Guests are welcome to attend one or both readings. There will be a reception between readings. Bernie B. Jacobs room 234 W. 44th Street, 11th Floor.

Gideon Glick, Eva Kaminsky & More to Star in Old Globe's THE FEW; Full Cast Announced

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the World Premiere comedy The Few by award-winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter (The Whale). Directed by Davis McCallum, The Few will run Sept. 28 - Oct. 27, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Sept. 28 - Oct. 2. The Astoria Performing Arts Center Announces 12th Season

The Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC), recipient of the 2012 Caffe Cino Fellowship Award from the Innovative Theatre Foundation, has announced their additional IT Award Nominations and their 12th Season featuring the New York Premiere of Gregory S. Moss's (punkplay, House of Gold) Billy Witch and Willy Russell's (Educating Rita, Shirley Valentine) Blood Brothers. APAC is also fortunate to be working on a developmental piece with Grammy and Tony-award winning composer Galt MacDermot (Hair), Gone Tomoro. APAC's performance venue is located at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@30th Rd) in Astoria, Queens.
