The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America, will celebrate its 15th anniversary this summer.

The Araca Group announces the return of AracaWorks, a week-long series of play readings celebrating new work for the theatre.

Playscripts, Inc. has announced the publication of Humana Festival 2010: The Complete Plays. The collection brings together all eleven scripts from the 2010 Humana Festival of New American Plays, the 34th annual cycle of world premiere productions staged at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Tony Award winning actress Katie Finneran gave birth child Ty Michael Goldstein on February 3, 2011.

Urinetown, the Tony-winning show written by Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann, will open in Madrid, Spain in 2012 produced by Pablo Muñoz-Chápuli's producing company Tela-Katola. This production is currently in pre-production.

Steve Yockey's poetic play follows a young couple in the process of grieving, who tumble into an alternate reality, are forced to confront the ghosts that haunt them, and ultimately must decide what their afterlife will be. Directed by Kate Warner, afterlife: a ghost story will open for the press on Monday, January 17, 2011 and run through Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Charles Mosesian Theater.
