FOX Picks Up Four Dramas for 2019-2020 Season

Fox has ordered four drama pilots to series for the 2019-2020 season. The lineup includes cop/serial killer drama Prodigal Son, starring Tom Payne and Michael Sheen; John Slattery's AI drama neXt; police drama Deputy, starring Stephen Dorff; and the Annie Weisman/Jason Katims sister drama, based on an Australian format.
The Trevor Project to Honor Cara Delevingne

Today, The Trevor Project announced that actress, musician, and style icon Cara Delevingne will be honored at the organization's TrevorLIVE New York gala with the Hero Award for her commitment to supporting The Trevor Project's mission to end suicide among LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. TrevorLIVE New York, the organization's annual star-studded signature fundraiser, will be held on Monday, June 17 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Disney+ Greenlights LOVE, SIMON TV Series

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney+ has decided to move forward with a TV series based on the hit film LOVE, SIMON. The show got a straight to series order, and is based on the Fox 2000 film from Greg Berlanti. Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker are announced as showrunners.
ARROW to End After Eighth Season

Arrow star Stephen Amell took to social media to announce that series will come to an end after the upcoming eighth season. In a tweet, Amell said 'Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life... but you can't be a vigilante forever. Arrow will return for a final run of 10 episodes this Fall. There's so much to say... for now I just want to say thank you.'

The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists announced winners of its 56th Annual ICG Publicists Awards on Friday, February 22, 2019, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, hosted by Dennis Dugan. CRAZY RICH ASIANS (Warner Bros. Pictures) won the top honors for Best Publicity Campaign for Motion Pictures and THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT - Ryan Aguirre (CBS Television Studios) won the Best Publicity Campaign in Television, both presented by Anna Paquin (Flack). This year's luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, was chaired by Tim Menkeand co-chaired by Sheryl Main. More than 900 industry leaders attended, including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press.
ICG Publicists Debut The Henri Bollinger Award

The International Cinematographers Guild Publicists (ICG, IATSE Local 600) will debut its new award The Henri Bollinger Award at the 56th annual International Cinematographers Guild's Publicists Awards Luncheon on February 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, it was announced today by Tim Menke, chair of the ICG Publicists Awards. This award, named after the renowned award-winning entertainment industry publicist Henri Bollinger, will be presented to Bollinger posthumously as the first recipient. His wife Sandy will accept on his behalf.
Rory O'Malley Takes Over as Full Time Host of Geffen Playhouse Podcast

The Geffen Playhouse Unscripted podcast has been renewed for a third season with PodcastOne, the nation's largest advertiser-supported podcast network, it was announced today. In addition, Tony-nominated Rory O'Malley (Hamilton, The Book of Mormon) has joined the podcast series as its new full-time host.

The CW has greenlit four pilots that are all based on well known titles, including two spinoffs of existing CW series, Riverdale and Jane the Virgin, and a Nancy Drew drama and The Lost Boys reboot, according to Deadline.
