From comic book to sweeping dramatic CW series, the students of Riverdale High have survived many cultural mediums. Now, the characters of Riverdale will embark on their most savage and hysterical journey yet, a Rockwell Table & Stage Musical Parody. Hitting the stage on April 4, 2020, RIVERDALE: A Musical Parody, will have fans laughing out loud and cheering for more. The production will run Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm, and Sunday afternoons at 1pm thru May 24, 2020.
From Monday, March 2nd - Thursday March 5th, the APSU Department of Theatre and Dance and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts (CECA) will welcome award winning director/playwright/showrunner Erica Weiss to campus for a series of workshops and public events. Ms. Weiss is visiting APSU as an Acuff Chair of Excellence with the support of CECA.
Prolific television writer/producer Jennie Snyder Urman has extended her production agreement with CBS Television Studios through 2025. Under the new deal, CBS Television Studios has the exclusive rights to produce all television content created and developed by Urman and her creative partner Joanna Klein through their Sutton Street Productions.

ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke announced today that the network has picked up “The Brides,” a new drama from executive producer/writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (“Riverdale,” “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television to pilot. Maggie Kiley (“American Horror Story,” “Riverdale,” upcoming “Katy Keene”) is set to direct.
