The Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) has announced the recipients of its 2020 Arts Scholarships. A total of $15,000 in awards was distributed. A $4,000 scholarship was awarded to Alexandra Hopkins, Musical Theatre, Oakland Mills High School.

The ASPECT Chamber Music Series presents concerts in an unusual format, one which transforms (according to their literature) “the traditional recital into an intimate, engaging and thought-provoking blend of performance, speech and image.” 

The ASPECT Chamber Music Series has announced four spring 2020 concerts, part of its fourth New York City season of illuminating performances. Taking place at Bohemian National Hall and the Italian Academy at Columbia University, ASPECT's concerts feature expertly curated chamber music by the world's top performers alongside illustrated talks by leading musicologist and industry experts that reveal fascinating details about the program's composers, works, and the cultural history of the time period.

The revolutionary concert series GatherNYC continues its mindful musical mornings this Sunday with the Carr-Petrova Duo, celebrating their album Novel Voices, inspired by their Novel Voices Refugee Aid Project, and continues the following weekend with acclaimed cello and guitar duo, Boyd Meets Girl. Concerts take place at 11am at SubCulture, with doors at 10:30 for complimentary coffee, pastry and community. 

The revolutionary concert series GatherNYC continues its mindful musical mornings this Sunday with winner of the 2018 Naumburg International Violin Competition Grace Park, and continues the following Sunday with pianist Jenny Lin, described by The Washington Post as 'surely one of the most interesting pianists in America right now'. Concerts take place at 11am at SubCulture, with doors at 10:30 for complimentary coffee, pastry and community. 

ABC has shared the 'I'm In' promos for A Million Little Things ahead of its second season premiere on September 26.

Ellie Gravitte, a finalist in the inaugural ABC Entertainment Marketing Women's Production Program, inspired the season two campaign for the hit drama “A Million Little Things.” The tagline “I'M IN” originates from the emotional storyline between Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller), who met at a breast cancer support group, fell deeply in love and endure the push and pull of life in remission.

ABC will premiere the second season of A Million Little Things on September 26!

Calling all Millionaires! Two weeks before the season premiere of 'A Million Little Things,' @AMillionABC will kick-off a Heart for Reminder opportunity, giving Twitter users a sneak peek of the heartbreaking opening scene of the season two premiere. At 12:00 a.m. PDT/3:00 a.m. EDT on Sept. 12, a Tweet with video calling out the season one finale cliffhanger will be posted, encouraging users to like the Tweet to opt-in to the program. Those who opt-in and have notifications enabled on their accounts will instantly receive the season two cold open as a video Tweet notification. They will also be alerted a few hours before the 'A Million Little Things' season two premiere on Sept. 26 with a second video Tweet notification, which will serve as a reminder to tune-in and provide them with an additional exclusive sneak peek of the season premiere.

The revolutionary Sunday morning concert series GatherNYC continues its ambitious and innovative programming featuring world-class performers, community building and spiritual nourishment. Concerts run every week from September 22 through December 22nd.

ABC announced today that it has renewed the hit drama “The Good Doctor” for a third season, “A Million Little Things” for a second season and “Shark Tank” for an 11th season.

Drea de Matteo is set to recur on ABC's A Million Little Things beginning next week, according to Deadline. She will be playing Mrs. Nelson, a woman who lives at Barbara Morgan's old address.

ABC drops 'The Alec Baldwin Show' from Saturday slot.  Look for repeats of 'The Rookie' (January 5) and 'A Million Little Things' (January 12) to fill the time period until NBA coverage takes over the night on January 19.
