For the 105th Kritzerland show Kritzerland is staying home. Rather than miss the May show, Kritzerland will be doing the show on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday May 3rd at 5:00pm PST/8:00 EST.

Songwriting duo Thomas Mizer & Curtis Moore, who wrote five original songs for the Amazon Original Series 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Season 3, channeled their creativity into reuniting the show's dynamic singing trio The Silver Belles (Alysha Deslorieux, Brennyn Lark, and Markita Prescott) to perform an unreleased original song from the show entitled “Madly in Love.”

Beginning Wednesday, April 15, theater fans across the globe will be treated to the unique and engaging new musical theatre podcast In The Spotlight hosted by Goodspeed's Artistic Assistant Michael Fling and Artistic Associate Anika Chapin.

Today, Goodspeed Musicals Executive Director Michael Gennaro announced additional changes to the programming and operations at the theater. 'We recently made the painful decision to cancel Candide and move South Pacific to the fall. We also had to postpone the Worklight Series at The Terris Theatre to next year.'

New York Theatre Barn will host a live streaming of a New Works Series presentation on March 25, 2020 at 7PM. The show will go on with pre-premieres of the new musicals HoT and Dimes. This installment will be free of charge.

Due to the increasing public risk caused by the COVID-19 Coronavirus, Goodspeed Musicals has decided to cancel all performances of Elvis My Way  (Friday, March 13 -15, 2020.) 

Broadway's Erin Mackey will lead Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Goodspeed Musicals'. The production begins April 17 will run through June 28 at The Goodspeed.

The directors of The Jerome Robbins Foundation today announced that Theodore S. Chapin, President and Chief Creative Officer of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization: A Concord Company, will be honored with the Floria V. Lasky Award in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the cultural landscape of New York City.

Wright State University Theatre continues its 54th season in the Festival Playhouse with the family-friendly musical comedy, Mamma Mia!, running from March 19th a?" April 12th.

Broadway veteran, Edward Watts will star as El Gallo in The Link Theatre's inaugural production of Tom Jonesand Harvey Schmidt's The Fantasticks. Watts previously played the role for more than 1,000 performances in the Off-Broadway production in New York City. The first professional theatre company in Northeast Arkansas, The Link is a new non-profit theater company located in Jonesboro, AR. Broadway veteran Matt Cavenaugh will direct the musical, which will play for three nights only starting Friday, March 6, 2020 at The Glass Factory (313 W Huntington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR). Watts replaces the previously announced Ben Davis who had to exit the production due to conflicts with his shooting schedule.
