Hennepin Theatre welcomes the First National Tour of MEAN GIRLS-the record-breaking new musical comedy produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson, Sonia Friedman, and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film-will be coming to historic Orpheum Theatre Tuesday, Oct. 1 to Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019 as part of the 2018-2020 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin series. 

Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, welcomes Jacob Dickey to the title role on Tuesday, July 16 to Thursday, September 12 at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin are now on sale. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances at Sacramento Community Center Theater on Wednesday, May 15 for a limited engagement of 3 weeks, through Sunday, June 2.

The completely original new musical Something Rotten!, originally directed and choreographed on Broadway by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, will play Akron's E.J. As it approaches its 2nd anniversary, the North American tour of Disney's Aladdin has announced that five new principal cast members will join the company starting on April 25 in Salt Lake City, where the hit Broadway musical will play a limited three-week engagement at The Eccles Theatre through May 12.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Aladdin on Broadway, 5 current and former Genies stopped the show following today's matinee with a medley of Aladdin hits at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The 5 Genies were Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart, current star Michael James Scott, tour Genie Major Attaway, and current Broadway Genie standbys Juwan Crawley and Deonte L. Warren.

Six-time Emmy Award winner Ryan Murphy announced today on Instagram that he will host a special performance of THE PROM to benefit Hetrick Martin, GLAAD and The Trevor Project on Tuesday, April 9.

With 10 Tony nominations including Best Musical, Something Rotten! is a "fresh, irreverent and hysterical" musical (Associated Press) coming to the Harris Center for five performances.

Casting has been announced for the Portland engagement of Disney's Aladdin.  The hit Broadway musical will begin performances at Keller Auditorium on Wednesday, March 27 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 7. The press opening night is Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 pm.
