Austin Pendleton to Direct Mint Theater's A DAY BY THE SEA at Theatre Row

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances will begin July 22nd and continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th.

Ingmar Bergman's NORA -- an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic drama A DOLL'S HOUSE -- is currently being given its English-language New York debut Off-Broadway in Austin Pendleton's production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.). Ingmar Bergman's NORA Begins This Weekend at Cherry Lane Theatre

Ingmar Bergman's NORA -- an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's classic drama A DOLL'S HOUSE -- will be given its English-language New York debut Off-Broadway this fall when Austin Pendleton directs the production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.), with previews set to begin November 14 prior to an official press opening November 22. The five-week production runs through December 12. NORA is produced by Cherry Lane Theatre in association with La Femme Theatre Productions.

CATCH THE BUTCHER - a new play by Adam Seidel about what happens when a single woman sets off to find the serial killer of other single women - will be given its Off-Broadway premiere this fall when Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.) kicks off its 92nd anniversary season with the production, directed by Valentina Fratti. Opening night is set for tonight, September 29, 2015.

Cristin Milioti, George Morfogen & More Join Patti LuPone in THE ROSE TATTOO Benefit

Sixteen New York Stage and Television regulars join Patti LuPone and Bobby Cannavale to complete the cast of The Rose Tattoo-Monday, April 27at 7pm-directed by Doug Hughes at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. A benefit performance for The Acting Company, The Rose Tattoo is one of Tennessee Williams' greatest works winning multiple Tony Awards, including Best Play.

Clifford Odets' ROCKET TO THE MOON Starts Tonight at Theatre at St. Clement's

A rare revival of Rocket to the Moon, the 1938 play by Clifford Odets (Awake and Sing, Golden Boy) will play Theatre at St. Clement's. Directed by Obie and Lucille Lortel Award winner Dan Wackerman (Counsellor-at-Law), Rocket to the Moon will play a limited engagement beginning tonight, February 10th at Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). Opening night is Monday, February 23rd.

Theatre Now New York's RAW Reading Series to Continue with SPEAK OF THE DEVIL, 2/8

RAW Readings presented by Theatre Now New York are FREE. New York, New York - Theatre Now New York, in association with Sari Weisman, will open its Raw Reading Series with a FREE reading of SPEAK OF THE DEVIL by Richard F. Stockton, revised by Marsha Lee Sheiness, and directed by Robert Kalfin, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00PM at 520 8th Avenue, 3rd floor, in Manhattan. A wine and cheese reception with the artists will follow.

Comedy writer and director Peter Bogdanovich, Academy Award-nominated for The Last Picture Show (1972), is set to direct a new comedy, starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. According to ShowBiz411.com, Aniston and Wilson star in SHE'S FUNNY THAT WAY, a film about the folly of making assumptions about other people.

THE VOYSEY INHERITANCE Comes to Peterborough Players, Now thru 8/31

'The Voysey Inheritance' was written in 1905 by Harley Granville-Barker, however, it tells a tale that proves that there is nothing new under the sun. It is a story that we are all too painfully familiar with if we were keeping up with Bernie Madoff and his fraudulent financial dealings. But, 'The Voysey Inheritance' gives us hope that there still may be some good people out there who might try to set things right. This iconic British play of morality and manners comes to the Peterborough Players this summer.
