Sixteen New York Stage and Television regulars join Patti LuPone and Bobby Cannavale to complete the cast of The Rose Tattoo-Monday, April 27at 7pm-directed by Doug Hughes at Broadway's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. A benefit performance for The Acting Company, The Rose Tattoo is one of Tennessee Williams' greatest works winning multiple Tony Awards, including Best Play.

Patti LuPone, a two-time Tony Award recipient (Evita, Gypsy) and Bobby Cannavale, an Emmy Award-winning actor (Boardwalk Empire) are joined by Cristin Milioti (Once, How I Met Your Mother), George Morfogen (Oz), Brenda Wehle (The Big Knife), Tina Benko (Flesh and Bone), Jennifer Regan (Born Yesterday), Patch Darragh (Boardwalk Empire), Stephanie DiMaggio (A Free Man of Color), Peter Mark Kendall (The Americans), Angela Pierce (The Norman Conquests), Robin Galloway (Saving Grace), Johann Carlo (Boardwalk Empire) and regional regulars Mary Lou Rosato, Pamela Nyberg, Christian Conn, Eliza Baldi and Leigh Wade. "It is the story of a Louisianawidow who withdraws from the world after her husband's death and expects her daughter to do the same," added Margot Harley, Producer of The Acting Company. "One day, a man resembling her late husband comes into her life and unlocks her fiery passion, wit, anger and pride."

Founded in 1972 by Ms. Harley and John Houseman, The Acting Company has toured 139 productions to 48 states and 10 foreign countries earning a TONY for Excellence in Theater, Obies, Audelcos and Los Angeles Critics Circle Awards. In addition to Patti LuPone, Kevin Kline, Rainn Wilson, Cristin Milioti, Frances Conroy, Jeffrey Wright, Harriet Harris, Mary Lou Rosato, Christian Conn, Pamela Nyberg, Johann Carlo, Angela Pierce, Keith David, Hamish Linklater and Jesse L. Martin are all alumni of The Acting Company.
