THE VOYSEY INHERITANCE Comes to Peterborough Players, 8/20-31

"The Voysey Inheritance" was written in 1905 by Harley Granville-Barker, however, it tells a tale that proves that there is nothing new under the sun. It is a story that we are all too painfully familiar with if we were keeping up with Bernie Madoff and his fraudulent financial dealings. But, "The Voysey Inheritance" gives us hope that there still may be some good people out there who might try to set things right. This iconic British play of morality and manners comes to the Peterborough Players this summer.

A rich and delightful cast of characters keep us on the edge of our seat. Lisa Bostnar, George Morfogen and Kraig Swartz will reprise their roles that had sold out Off-Broadway's The Mint Theater over two 'back by popular demand' runs in 1999 and 2000. Ms. Bostnar, who started The Mint with then husband of seventeen years, Jonathan Bank, sold out many houses in "Voysey" and numerous other productions gaining The Mint critical and artistic success. www.minttheater.org

Ms. Bostnar will also star in two other productions this summer at the Peterborough Players: Charles Morey's new comedy, "The Granite State" (7/23-8/3) and Somerset Maugham's "The Circle" (8/6- 8/17).
