ADDY & UNO, the hit off-Broadway production that features a delightful cast of comical and melodious puppets with disabilities, has announced it will extend its run through March 10th. Fans and critics have hailed the show for being the first family musical comedy to celebrate differing abilities, friendship, and kindness. Even Mayor deBlaisio is honoring the show, issuing a letter of recognition to the cast and crew in advance of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.

Hosted by the one-and-only actress/comedienne Julie Halston, BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! will celebrate its eighth annual fundraiser, featuring Broadway stars in an evening of music and comedy benefitting the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. This year's event will take place on Monday, March 12 at 5:30 pm at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) in New York City. Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director) today announces the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar (Ars Nova's Underground Railroad Game), February 6 - March 11, 2018. The play, with which Soho Rep. reopens its longtime Tribeca theater, dauntlessly cracks jokes as it eviscerates. Alfie Fuller and Dame-Jasmine Hughes play Anaia and Racine, twin sisters who undertake a murderous journey from the Dirty South to the California desert, seeking payback for a horrendous act. Is God Is treats both morality and genre as notions to be exploded, drawing on the ancient, the modern, the tragic, the Spaghetti Western, hip-hop and Afropunk in its subversion of theatrical constructs.

Casting is announced for Pippin at Southwark Playhouse with Jonathan Carlton reprising his role as Pippin and Genevieve Nicole returning as The Leading Player. The principal cast is completed with Mairi Barclay, Bradley Judge, Tessa Kadler and Rhidian Marc. Players include Michelle Andrews, Andrew Halliday, Scott Hayward and Ellie Seaton.

Programming a theatre season for a major regional theatre can be a major challenge, to put it mildly. Funding, casting, public interest, mandate, and licensing availability are just some of the multitude of challenges and considerations that must be acknowledged - so its no surprise that programming The Muny's 100th season would be a big challenge.

New Hampshire Theatre Project presents the female version of Neil Simon's classic THE ODD COUPLE. Directed by Robin Fowler, this adaptation of THE ODD COUPLE was written by Simon twenty years after the original, re-imagining the beloved characters of Felix and Oscar as Florence and Olive, respectively. This wacky comedy opened January 12th and runs through the 28th.

This spring, the international music sensation Rocktopia will rock Broadway for six epic weeks, March 20 April 29, 2018 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE which was held on Monday, January 15th at the series' new home, The Green Room 42. This concert brought the series officially to 900 performers.

TRADING SPACES, the television home design series that launched a TV genre will return to America's living rooms with a special reunion on Saturday, April 7th beginning at 8:00p.m. ET/PT, followed by the series return at 9:00p.m. ET/PT. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced today that Saoirse Ronan will receive their prestigious Santa Barbara Award, presented by UGG, for her critically acclaimed role in Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird, an A24 release. Given to a person in the entertainment industry who has made a great contribution to film, the award will be presented to her at a ceremony on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the historic Arlington Theatre.

While most audiences are familiar with Neil Simon's classic 1965 script, not many realize he wrote an updated version 20 years later for a specifically female cast. Kathleen Somssich and Genevieve Aichele star as the mismatched Florence Unger and Olive Madison in this endearing and high-spirited classic comedy. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for a game of Trivial Pursuit (and Mr. Simon gets more mileage out of those real 1980's Trivial Pursuit questions than we ever thought possible!) The upstairs Pidgeon sisters neighbors are replaced by the hilarious Constanzuela brothers, two 'classy Spanish gentlemen in double-breasted suits.' The rock musical Next to Normal has an impressive record. It won three Tony Awards in 2009, including the award for Best Original Score, and it is one of only nine musicals ever to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (2010). It is an emotional powerhouse of a play that demands excellence in performance, and artistic director Robert Hupp has assembled a cast capable of delivering every nuanced note when Next to Normal begins its run at Syracuse Stage on Jan. 24.

Directed by Connor Deane with choreography by Eric Santagata and music direction by J. Scott Handley, performances are scheduled for February 7 to 10, 2018. The cast will be headed by Alaina Mills as Eva Peron, Yurel Echezarreta as Che, Kyle Barisch as Juan Peron, and Julian Alvarez as Magaldi.
