The Group Rep presents the world premiere musical 'The Ghost of Gershwin,' with music by Wayland Pickard, book by Doug Haverty, lyrics by Laura Manning, directed by Jules Aaron, choreographed by Michele Bernath, and produced by Richard Alan Woody. The play runs today, May 9 through June 22, 2014, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm at the Lonny Chapman Theatre at the edge of the NoHo Arts District.

Benefits by Bay Street presented TYPHOON RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES night of bands on Sunday, November 24. The lineup of bands included LOLA, THE VANDETTAS, NANCY ATLAS, INDA EATON, HOODOO LOUNGERS, GENE CASEY, RICK DAVIES, ESCOLA de SAMBA BOOM and JOE DELIA and the THIEVES. The night of fundraising included a silent auction and was co-hosted by Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman and Bonnie Grice for WPPB. Whether it's after the plunge on the Long Wharf or before the big fireworks, Bay Street is the place you will want to be! In the lobby kids can warm up with hot chocolate while adults can enjoy a "cocoa-go-go", a delightful hot mixture of cocoa with a choice of a favorite liquor at the bar. After warming up kids can enjoy free cartoons on the big screen from 12-4pm and for those who want to just relax, cool music will be played in the lobby to chill out to for the rest of the afternoon.
