Red Tail Productions LLC and Charlie Blum Entertainment / CB Entertainment, in partnership with Nickelodeon, announce new tour dates for Nickelodeon's Double Dare Live stage show.  Coming off of a successful fall 2018 tour, Double Dare Live -- featuring original host Marc Summers and his beloved sidekick Robin Russo -- will resume touring March 26 in Lancaster, PA, and will play Bass Concert Hall, April 14, 2019. This February, for Black History Month, American Masters profiles two iconic performers who broke new ground in entertainment as the Civil Rights movement gathered momentum in America: Sammy Davis, Jr., and Charley Pride. American Masters – Sammy Davis, Jr.: I've Gotta Be Me, the first major film documentary to examine the performer's vast career and journey for identity through the shifting tides of civil rights and racial progress during 20th-century America, premieres nationwide Tuesday, February 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) and is available on DVD the same day through PBS Distribution. The PBS broadcast also features 20 minutes of exclusive bonus performance footage spanning Davis' 50-year career after the documentary. American Masters – Charley Pride: I'm Just Me premieres nationwide Friday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings). Both films will be available to stream the day after their respective broadcast premieres viapbs.org/americanmasters and PBS apps.

Tim O'Brien recently announced a headlong leap back into traditional bluegrass with his new full-length album, Tim O'Brien Band. Due for release on March 15, 2019, Tim O'Brien Band, the title a sly nod to traditional music's often eponymous band names, is a collection of not just old-school leaning music, but also of world-class musicians perfectly aligned in intention and ability. In addition to Tim, Mike Bub (bass), Shad Cobb (fiddle),Jan Fabricius (vocals/mandolin) and Patrick Sauber (banjo/guitar) make up this unstoppable band, who, from recent live performances, may be familiar to Tim O'Brien fans. Tim says, “This crew has the potential to make ten more records together and never reach the limit of the possibilities.” The only guest on the recording is O'Brien's Hot Rize bandmate Bryan Sutton, who lends his distinctive guitar playing to two tracks.

GRAMMY® winners Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood; and past GRAMMY nominees Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry will join the performance lineup at the 2019 MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Dolly Parton on Feb. 8. Previously announced performers include Leon Bridges, Lauren Daigle, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Norah Jones, Shawn Mendes, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Linda Perry, P!nk, Mark Ronson, Mavis Staples, and Chris Stapleton. GRAMMY winner Dolly Parton will close the evening's performances. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director. More guest performers will be announced shortly.

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Charles' debut EP, HARD WAY TO GO, is set for December 7 release and is available for pre-order now. It wasn't the Country Music Awards or Grammy Awards at the new Birdland Theater last night but it sure seemed like it. An overflow audience for the Victoria Shaw concert got a surprise as Victoria called up two of her friends who were in the audience……..Desmond Child, and then Kristin Chenoweth each sang a number. Even Jim Caruso who has hosted every famous person on the planet whipped out his cell phone camera for this one.

Chris Stapleton reveled in a celebratory night in Nashville as he took home three wins at "The 52nd Annual CMA Awards," while Keith Urban warmed hearts with his gracious acceptance of the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy. Country Music's Biggest Night was hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and aired live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 14 on the ABC Television Network.

Winners in the Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories for "The 52nd Annual CMA Awards" were revealed live on 'Good Morning America' this morning. See the big reveal below! Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy won Musical Event of the Year for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." Music Video of the Year went to Thomas Rhett and director TK McKamy for "Marry Me." "Good Morning America's" Lara Spencer has also been added as a presenter for Country Music's Biggest Night, hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, and airing live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville tonight at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network.
