The Country Music Association has announced the final nominees for a?oeThe 53rd Annual CMA Awards,a?? as Maren Morris tops the list of finalists with six nominations. Brothers Osborne receives four nominations, the second most nominations this year, while 11 garner three nominations eacha?"Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Scott Hendricks, Dann Huff, Greg Kurstin, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood. For the night's highest honor, reigning Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban is nominated again in the category alongside Garth Brooks, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Underwood. 

In collaboration with PBS' 'Great Performances' series, the Recording Academy presents 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends®,' the fourth annual all-star concert offering a primetime spotlight for the Academy's 2019 Special Merit Awards recipients. Recorded in May at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, the event premieres nationwide Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings),pbs.org/gperf and the PBS Video app.

Hallmark Channel and PEDIGREE Foundation will team up for a television special to help the millions of shelter and rescue dogs across the country find loving homes. The event will bring together country artists Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes and Easton Corbin for The Love of Dogs Benefit Concert at the Country Music Hall of Fame CMA Theater on Thursday, October 10 at 7:30pm.

Garth Brooks has announced his second DIVE BAR concert. It will be at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA on August 15th.

Lacuna Coil and All That Remains announce Disease Of The Anima co-headline tour presented by Revolver. The tour includes special guests Bad Omens, Toothgrinder (9/15-10/10), Eximious (10/11-10/19), and Uncured. Tickets for the tour go on sale starting July 26th at 12PM local time. Tickets will include a digital download email directly from MusicRedemptions.com, where fans can redeem either Lacuna Coil's forthcoming album, Black Anima, or All That Remains' latest album, Victim of the New Disease. The download will only be available in select markets.

Nashville's rising star Karissa Ellareleased Blossom, today, bringing youthful energy and soul to country music fans. Inspired by the Blossom Music Center in her Ohio hometown where she fell in love with country music, the EP features six fun light-hearted summer tracks produced by Alex Seier. Songs already released from the track include “Vacay,” which can be heard regularly on Radio Disney Country and “Me and Luke,” which has been featured in playlists including “Cool Country” on Apple Music, “Fresh Finds Music” and “New Music Nashville” on Spotify and “Introducing: Country” on Amazon Music. America's legendary singer and songwriter, Don McLean, will be featured on SiriusXM's Elvis Radio (Channel 19) this Saturday, July 20 at 12 noon ET/11am CT. McLean chats with life-long Memphian, and morning host of Elvis Radio, DJ Argo. The hour long interview special traces McLean's connection to the King of Rock & Roll, including Presley's performance of McLean's classic hit song 'And I Love You So.' McLean recently performed at Graceland in June of this year on Father's Day weekend.

WaterTower Theatre is announcing IGNITE!, an exclusive evening with Grammy and Emmy nominee Steve Dorff, on Friday, August 23, 2019. This one-night-only special event includes a performance by Dorff.

Garth Brooks is set for his first DIVE BAR concert at Joe's on Weed Street in Chicago on July 15th. The news was announced today on Chicago country radio stations, WUSN and WEBG. Tickets for the concert will be available to win exclusively on those two stations. All ticket holders must be 21 and over. This will be the first of seven DIVE BAR concerts this summer, with the rest to be announced soon.

Charley Pride: I'm Just Me will make its BBC network premiere Friday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m. BST on BBC4. The program will also be available to view on BBC iplayer for 30 days after its broadcast on BBC Four.

Producer Kevin McCollum announced today that the new musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, will premiere at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre this fall on route to Broadway.  The musical features a book Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell and music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, the Tony Award nominated team behind Something Rotten!  Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) will direct and Lorin Latarro (Waitress) will choreograph.  Ethan Popp (Tina) will serve as Music Supervisor.
