“Times of Essence” features thought leaders, celebrities and culture defining influencers in the series, including: Ms. Oprah Winfrey, Oscar®-winning actresses Halle Berry and Whoopi Goldberg; Emmy®-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, Regina Hall and Taye Diggs; Golden Globe®-winning actress Taraji P. Henson; and more.

Season two will feature more games, celebrities, and winners. Other celebrity guests, competing for charities, will be woven throughout episodes and will include NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, GRAMMY® Award nominated, CMA & ACM Award winning country music star Jimmie Allen, and NBA Champion Iman Shumpert.  

TBS' competition series, “The Cube,” hosted by three-time NBA Champion, one of the NBA’s 75 all-time greatest players, and founder of 59th and Prairie Entertainment, Dwyane Wade will return. Other celebrity guests, competing for charities, will be woven throughout episodes and will include Shaquille O’Neal, Jimmie Allen, and Iman Shumpert.  

Garcelle Beauvais, Aloe Blacc, Bryan Cranston, Adam Devine, Fat Joe, Liz Gillies, Aldis Hodge, Edwin Hodge, DJ Khaled, Daniel Levy, Loni Love, Leslie Mann, Robin Thicke, Gabrielle Union Wade and John David Washington have been added to The MDA Kevin Hart Kids Telethon.

Over the weekend, two-time GRAMMY®- nominated and Billboard Music Award-winning artist, Koryn Hawthorne, took over Spotify’s #BlackGirlMagic playlist, making history as the first Gospel artist to do so.

“D. Wade: Life Unexpected,” a new feature documentary from ESPN Films and Imagine Documentaries, will debut on Sunday, February 23, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The film, directed and executive produced by Wade's long-time friend and cinematographer Bob Metelus, chronicles three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade's experience on and off the court as he enters into his final year in the league, and reflects on personal and professional victories and set-backs throughout his legendary career. The film includes scenes from hundreds of hours of never-before-seen home movies, exclusive video diaries, and all-access verité footage shot over the last decade. Imagine Documentaries' President Justin Wilkes and EVP Sara Bernstein produced the film alongside Imagine Entertainment Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, as well as with Academy-Award nominated and Emmy Winning producer, Sam Pollard.

The Broadway premiere of AMERICAN SON has just announced additions to its producing team. The play will be co-produced by a team that includes Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Dwyane Wade, Steve Stoute and Nnamdi Asomugha. They join a team that includes Kerry Washington's Simpson Street, Jeffry Richards, Rebecca Gold and Will Trice.
