This year, Lefra Productions is presenting MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS, an Afrikaans translation of the new Ray Cooney farce, FUNNY MONEY. This is one of Cooney's very successful farces from London's West End is being performed for the first time in South Africa in Afrikaans. Peet van Rensburg did the translation and adaptation and Frans Swart is the director.

Lefra Productions will present three productions at this year's ABSA KKNK in Oudtshoorn. Lefra's new farce for 2013, MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS premieres at the Festival; the internationally acclaimed group, The Drifters are also appearing in Oudsthoorn and then Lefra's new one-man show, BARRY VAN DER LINDE BIED AAN... launched at the festival.

Lefra Productions presents Ray Cooney's farce, FUNNY MONEY, in Afrikaans as MY VROU SE MAN SE LYK SE TAS. Cooney's successful West End comedy is being staged for the first time staged in South Africa in this Afrikaans translation by Peet van Rensburg. Frans Swart is the director.

It is the opening night of Great Comeback Tour of Afrikaans superstar, Duke Vermeulen. And the man behind this champagne event is the West Rand promoter, Barry van der Linde. For Barry himself, this is the biggest night of his career, as convincing the Platinum Prince to return to the stage after five years' absence was by no means easy.
