Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the World Premiere of The Long Shrift, written by Robert Boswell and directed by James Franco, will begin previews July 7th, 2014. The official opening night is set for July 13th, 2014 and closing night is August 23rd, 2014.

Following COMMUNITY's cancellation at NBC, Jacobs has signed on to join Lena Dunham and co. for the fourth season of HBO's hit series GIRLS, according to Variety. She's set to appear in a recurring capacity.

The latest in the long line of Kevin Costner sports movies, DRAFT DAY, hits theaters on Friday. Paramount Home Media Distribution and Samuel Goldwyn Films announced today a collaboration to bring RUDDERLESS to theatrical and home viewing audiences. The feature directorial debut of Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee* William H. Macy, RUDDERLESS was produced by Keith Kjarval (Unified Pictures) and Brad Greiner in association with Aaron L. Gilbert's Bron Studios and had its world premiere as the Closing Night Film at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
