The Actors Fund announced today that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, will also produce and host Plays in the House as part of its weekly lineup of Stars in the House, a daily online show at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Actors Fund, the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced today that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, will produce a daily mini-online show, entitled Stars in The House, featuring stars of stage and screen singing and performing live (from home!) on social media to promote support for The Fund's services for those most vulnerable to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Seth Rudetsky Broadway Concert Series, will present Santino Fontana, this year's Tony Award winning Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his title role in Tootsie, performing live at the Parker Playhouse on Friday, April 3 at 8 PM.
Billy Elliot made a huge splash in London in 2005 before it crossed the Atlantic. The Broadway production opened at the Imperial Theatre on November 13, 2008, where it remained for over three years and 1312 performances. The show made Tony winners of its three pint-sized leading men (David Álvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish) and picked up nine other Tonys that season. The production also notabley starred Haydn Gwynne, Gregory Jbara and a young, future Tony-winner, Santino Fontana.

On April 6, 2020, Carol Burnett will receive the 2020 Stephen Sondheim Award, to be presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit at the Embassy of Italy. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential musical theater writer and composer, benefits Signature's artistic, education and community programs. Kristin Chenoweth and Santino Fontana will perform in Carol Burnett's honor along with Washington's own Tracy Lynn Olivera, Nova Y. Payton and Bobby Smith.
