Sydney Festival returns this January to give the city its sizzle with an exhilarating line-up of vibrant ideas, irrepressible creativity, remarkable talent and pure summertime revelry across 25 days from 5-29 January 2023. 

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for The Sound of Music, directed by Mark S. Hoebee. The production will feature Ashley Blanchet (Paper Mill’s Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Broadway’s Waitress) as Maria Rainer, and Graham Rowat (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, Sunset Boulevard) as Captain Georg von Trapp.

The Orange Tree Theatre has announced the full cast for Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man, marking Paul Miller's final production as Artistic Director, following his lauded rediscoveries of Shaw's other early plays How He Lied to Her Husband, Misalliance and The Philanderer. MusicWorks has announced a new 7-concert Classic Folk, Rock and R&B Music Series, running next February and March at The Parker, an intimate 1,168-seat theater located at 707 NE 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale (33304).

Homes At Night — made up of songwriters Hank Compton and Aksel Coe — create alternative pop/rock anthems that blur the boundaries between genre and generation. It's a sound that's both nostalgic and modern, layered with organic instruments, synth-driven soundscapes, cinematic hooks, and a percussive pulse.
