Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Suits), Robbie Williams (Take That), David Mitchell (Peep Show), Aimee Lou Wood (Netflix's Sex Education) and the stars of West End musical Dear Evan Hansen are among the nominees for The Stage Debut Awards 2020, in association with Access Entertainment. 

This summer, we're sadly not going to be seeing all the outdoor theatre that we've loved in past years - whether at venues like Regent's Park and Shakespeare's Globe or dedicated festivals and other open-air arts gatherings. So, until we can welcome all these wonderful events back again, BroadwayWorld reviewers are paying tribute to them with some of our favourite memories!

Selladoor Worldwide has announced that Amber Davies will star as 'Campbell' alongside Louis Smith as 'Cameron' in the upcoming UK and Ireland tour of BRING IT ON THE MUSICAL which heads to Theatre Royal Brighton from Tuesday 22 a?" Saturday 26 September.

BRING IT ON THE MUSICAL will play a London season the Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall from Wednesday 9 December 2020 to Sunday 10 January 2021, following a UK and Ireland Tour which opens at the Birmingham Hippodrome on 2 June 2020. Full tour dates in the listings below.

The 2020 Oliver Award nominations have been announced!

Tyrone Huntley today announced the nominations for the 20th annual WhatsOnStage Awards via WhatsOnStage's social channels, the only major theatre prize-giving decided entirely by the theatregoers themselves. The announcement of the nominations marks the opening of the final voting stage (until 27 January), with winners announced at the annual Awards Concert held on 1 March 2020 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Nuffield Southampton Theatres today announces the full company of CinderELLA The Musical. Michael Fentiman directs Valda Aviks (Ella), Emma Darlow (Melania) Tom Hier (Prince Charming and Policeman), Michael O'Connor (Harry), Jos Slovick (Daniel Deeni), Imelda Warren-Green (Ivanka) and Lydia White (Cinders). This new adaptation of the classic myth features two protagonists, the younger Cinders who feels old beyond her years and the older Ella who remembers when she danced as a girl at the Midnight Ballroom. The production opens at Nuffield Southampton Theatres – NST City on 29 November, with previews from 23 November, and runs until 5 January 2020.

It's official. Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has found its niche, in hosting productions that are inventive and bold reimaginings of well-established works. We had Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors...and now we have Jamie Lloyd's Evita, which dazzles with an interpretation that is stylistically groundbreaking.

The fastest selling production in the theatre's history, Evita plays at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from 2 August – 21 September.
