Relativity Media has solidified an exclusive production arrangement with MediaWeaver Entertainment, it was announced today by Relativity's President, Tucker Tooley. In the deal, founder Matt Weaver will focus on theatrical and live shows while also potentially bringing in new film, television and digital projects to Relativity's respective divisions including Relativity's television division RelativityREAL, and digital studio RogueLife.
Evolution Independent, Lagniappe and Paradox Entertainment announce today that principal photography has begun on the new dramatic thriller AIN'T THEM BODIES SAINTS, which was written and is being directed by David Lowery ("Pioneer") and stars Academy Award-nominees Rooney Mara ("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo") and Casey Affleck ("The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"), and multiple award-winner Ben Foster ("3:10 To Yuma"). The film tells the story of Bob Muldoon (Affleck) and Ruth Guthrie (Mara), two young outlaws who are brought down by the law in the hills of Texas.

The UK Sun is reporting that Sacha Baron Cohen, known to musical theatre fans for his turn in SWEENEY TODD opposite Helena Bonham Carter in the Tim Burton film, has joined the upcoming LES MISERABLES film as Monsieur Thernardier. The Sun reports that that he will be reuniting with Bonham Carter in the film. Previous reports had indicated that Geoffrey Rush was in talks to play the part.
