Premiere Stages at Kean University is now presenting the mesmerizing world premiere of Erin Breznitsky’s play, Satellites at the Bauer Boucher Theatre Center.

Premiere Stages, the professional theatre company in residence at Kean University, has selected its four finalists for the 2022 Premiere Play Festival. Now in its 17th year, the Festival is an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. This year's finalists were selected from 655 submissions.

With performances between August 31st and September 4th, Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival will present the world premiere of 'This is Like That' by Michael Sean Cirelli, a solo performance piece in the form of an eccentric slide lecture with a temperamental carousel projector and an apple.

The 2017 FRIGID Festival presents The Refugee Plays, five short plays by Charles Gershman, Penny Jackson, Callie Kimball, Carlos Castro, and Sean E. Cunningham that tell powerful stories of refugees today. Dan Dinero, Logan Reed, and Rachel Dart direct. Performances will be staged at The Kraine Theater, located at 85 E. 4th St. between 2nd Ave Bowery in NYC for five performances from tonight, February 16, through March 5, 2017.

This raw and visceral production (directed by Kelly Monroe Johnston) will focus on language to evoke the imagination and story.  Performances begin on January 28 at the Access Theater (380 Broadway, New York, NY 10013).

The play, written by internationally produced playwright Erin Breznitsky and directed by New York Madness Directing Company Head Roxy MtJoy, runs at The Paradise Factory (64 E 4th St) now through November 23.
