LAByrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz and Executive Director Steve Asher) have announced the 2005-06 season, which will include two plays by José Rivera (The Motorcycle Diaries).

The Public Theater will present two series of readings--New Work Now! and New Work Then!--in celebration of its history of producing new plays; the two series will be held from September 9th to September 18th and from September 2nd to October 3rd

On May 2, 2005 Performance Space 122 celebrates its 25th anniversary with a gala benefit at Webster Hall where they will present the first annual Ethyl Eichelberger Award.

The show made its US premiere at Broadway's Hilton Theatre on Thursday, April 28, 2005 and BroadwayWorld was out on the red carpet!

The limited 12-week Off-Broadway engagement opened officially on Wednesday, April 20th.

- MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) has announced the lineup for the 35th anniversary season of its famed 'WRITERS IN PERFORMANCE' (WIP) literary series. Under the direction of Steve Lawson, WIP's eclectic five-event program will celebrate the best in drama, literature and song with tributes to Tennessee Williams, Kurt Weill, Cervantes' Don Quixote, George S. Kaufman and an appearance by opera great (and first-time author) Renee Fleming.

Wolfe, producer; Mara Manus, executive director, announce the world premiere of THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, a new play by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. Previews begin in The Public Theater's Martinson Hall on Tuesday, February 8.
