Music Theatre Festival 2019: THE BRITISH INVASION kicks off for Marymount Manhattan College with a brand new musical revue of material from the Perfect Pitch New British Musicals songbook-directed and choreographed by Larry Fuller (Evita, Sweeney Todd)-with an assist from Daniel Kermidas (West Side Story, Newsies)-and music direction by Steven Cuevas (Kinky Boots, Once On This Island.)

On Monday, November 19th, (mostly)musicals returned to Upstairs at Vitello's to celebrate the holidays with their 30th edition! Music director Gregory Nabours led a jingling (ring-ting-tingling too!) evening, featuring Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS), Amy Engelhardt (BASTARD JONES), Clent Bowers (B'way: CATS, BIG), Emily Clark (Stealing Focus), Gabriel Gonzalez (La Verdad), Iara Nemirovsky (National tour: SCHOOL OF ROCK), Jeffrey Polk (B'way: FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE), Kelley Dorney (IN A BOOTH AT CHASEN'S), Kristina Miller (JERSEY BOYS), Jonny Lee Jr. and Justin Anthony Long (CITY OF DREAMS), Juan Lozano (2 Cents Theatre Company), Keith and Laura Nicole Harrison (EMOJILAND), Natalia Vivino (CHILDREN OF EDEN at 5-Star Theatricals), and Shawn Ryan ('America's Got Talent'). The evening also showcased a guest performance from the cast of the critically acclaimed Greenway Court production of THE COLOR PURPLE, and, as always, the open mic afterparty! Broadway's Clent Bowers (CATS, BIG) and EMOJILAND creators Laura Nicole Harrison and Keith Harrison will make their 1st (mostly)musicals appearances on 11.19.18 in HEADED FOR THE HOLIDAYS, the 30th edition of the popular cabaret series. Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER), and Juan Lozano (2Cents Theatre, The Freedom Ledges) will also join the previously announced merry sleigh-full of performers!

An original musical comedy written by Jonathan Winton Brenner and Pam Eberhardt, The Runaway Clone centers around an Agency in the future that makes and sells clones to humans. One clone escapes and takes with her all of the agency's secrets. In a panic that the world will know the truth which the Agency has been hiding for years, the administration sets out on a mission to retrieve the runaway clone and keep their empire intact. Will the Runaway Clone reach the School for Clones in time? Will the Agency protect their legacy of lies? What's a Sausage Balloon? Along with managing the Broadwater Theater Complex as a host venue for this 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Sacred Fools Theater Company is contributing three monster-themed shows into the mix. Dusty and The Shades Of The 60's is a brand new musical stage show coming to Liverpool's Epstein Theatre on Wed 16 May and celebrates the life and music of the great Dusty Springfield and her contemporary peers.

The Sacred Fools Theater Company is delighted to present the World Premiere of The Art Couple by Brendan Hunt (Absolutely Filthy), directed by Lauren Van Kurin. The comic mayhem begins Friday, February 16 and runs through Sunday, March 17 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm (with the exception of Sunday, March 4 - no performance that date). The show will be performed in the Black Box Theater of the Broadwater Theater Complex.
