This Memorial Day, the forecast is for fabulous with an entertaining evening of songs about the weather! Special guest music director Jake Anthony (WANTING MISS JULIE, LA premiere of THE VIEW UPSTAIRS) will heat up the room with a tornado of talent featuring some of LA's favorite performers, including: Tony nominee Sharon McNight (STARMITES), Michael-Leon Wooley (B'way: Audrey 2 in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, film: THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, DREAMGIRLS), Amanda Kruger (UMPO: JURASSIC PARK), Ashley Ruth Jones (42ND STREET at PVPA), Cassandra Nuss (THE CRAFTLESQUE at HFF18), David Crane (PRINCE OF EGYPT, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley), Dedrick Bonner (SPAMILTON), Jeffrey Polk (B'way: 5 GUYS NAMED MOE), Kelley Dorney (MTW's NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT), singer/songwriter Kristy Hanson, Parissa Koo (FTR: THE BRAT PACK), Rhett George (B'way: WICKED, SWEET CHARITY, MEMPHIS, "So You Think You Can Dance" featured song "Butterfly") Nic Hodges (3D's JOSEPH and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND), and a special performance from the cast of Actors Co-op Theatre's hit production of VIOLET! They'll perform songs from pop, jazz, and country... but (mostly)musicals! And if YOU want to STORM the stage, you'll have your chance at the open mic afterparty hosted by Emily Clark (RUNAWAY CLONE at HFF18) and Mark Jacobson (TRUMP FAMILY SPECIAL)! Come early to enjoy Vitello's hot food and cool drinks - and, of course, there will be party favors!
Tickets are $20 and available at www.tinyurl.com/mmLA-WEATHER - check out Vitello's new floor plan! (There will be a $10 surcharge on tickets purchased on the day of the show.) Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks, showtime is 7:30pm with the open mic afterparty immediately following.
