Known for his clever lyrics and the ability to create in a wide variety of musical styles, his is an exciting voice in the current musical theatre landscape. Broadway insiders marvel at the way he plays with musical language and captures a point of view that never fails to resonate deeply with the listener. It's no wonder the Pasadena native has already received a Richard Rodgers Award, a Jonathan Larson Grant, and a Lucille Lortel nomination.

This Monday, February 15 (mostly)musicals returns to the E Spot Lounge to present NEVER GROW UP, an evening of songs about childhood and children. For their 16th edition, LA's popular themed cabaret series (mostly)musicals wants to put you in touch with your inner child.

No kidding! Following one of their most successful shows to date, January's songsforanewYEAR, (mostly)musicals will return to the E Spot Lounge on Monday, February 15 with NEVER Grow Up, the company's 16th entry in their series of themed cabarets. 'We want to do a show to celebrate the inner child in all of us,' explains producer amy francis schott.

On Monday, January 4, 2016 (mostly)musicals returned to the E Spot Lounge for the 4th time with songsforanewYEAR, the company's 15th entry in a series of themed cabarets. 'We were excited to get 2016 - and the 3rd season of (mostly)musicals - off to a happy start, so the only theme was 'happy music'! There were no sad songs allowed at this show,' explains producer amy francis schott.

Gallery Players continues its 49th season with the Seussical, the fantastic family musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss.  Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once On The Island and Ragtime)  have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite characters, with a rich and dazzling score to create an almost entirely sung-through show that transforms the theatre into the Jungle of Nool, the Circus McGurkus, the invisible world of the Whos, and beyond.  Seussical will be helmed by Barrie Gelles, with musical direction by Trevor M. Pierce.  Opening night will be January 30th at 7:30PM.

Returning as hostess and chanteuse is the spicy Jordan Kai Burnett (SEUSSICAL), joined by music director Bryan Blaskie (VICTORIAN COURTING AND ZOMBIES) and band.
