Go See It! Join the enthralled cult! It’s for anyone who was ever a theater or choir kid. It’s for anyone who ever had a sexuality of any flavor whatsoever, or just even an inner life. It’s for the frustrated amateur metaphysician in each of us. And it is certainly for the amateur detective in each of us; the creators, Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, have sprinkled clues and non sequiturs everywhere for us to ponder.

Ride the Cyclone is a simply wonderful evening of fun, escapist theatre. It's quirky and unconventional and playing at Arena Stage's Kreeger Theater through February 9th.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announced the cast for the D.C. premiere of Ride the Cyclone. Arena Stage’s Kreeger Theater will be transformed into somewhere between earth and—well, not earth—when Ride the Cyclone plays from January 13 – February 19, 2023.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts have announced a special three-day performance of Indian Summer, written by Gregory S. Moss and directed by Cameron King, opening Thursday, August 25, and running through Saturday, August 27.

McCarter rings in Spring with Ride The Cyclone: The Musical - a wholly unexpected, wildly imaginative story that delivers surprises at every turn. The first show to be directed by McCarter’s new Artistic Director Sarah Rasmussen, with book, music & lyrics by Brooke Maxwell & Jacob Richmond.

I got to sit down and have a conversation with two CCM Seniors, Joshua Kenneth  Allen Johnson and Jack Brewer of MT 21’ and discussed what it was like to  transfer everything they’ve learned from the classroom into the virtual world of a  showcase.

Matt Copley, who graduated from the BFA Musical Theatre program at CCM this spring, conceptualized and wrote an original musical during his senior year.
