San Francisco's 42nd Street Moon is currently presenting the final production of its 2018-2019 season, Michael Patrick Gaffney's original one-man show 'The Oldest Living Cater Waiter.' Written and performed by Gaffney, it offers up delicious insights into his complicated and hilarious careers as both a professional actor and a high-end waiter to the stars. If you were fortunate enough to be one of the many who caught the touring production of the Tony Award-winning musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN during its Southern California stops at L.A.'s Ahmanson Theatre or, more recently, at O.C.'s Segerstrom Center of the Arts this past January, then you, no doubt, would remember Broadway veteran Aaron Lazar, the handsome and very talented man tasked with the role of Larry Murphy, the distant but distraught father to a suicidal teenager. The role has earned him much-deserved universal praise, not only for such a thoughtful, searing acting performance but also for his obvious singing prowess. Fresh off his hit premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and armed with only his imagination, a few dance moves, and 180 light cues, O'Donnell vividly brings the beautifully tragic love story of down-on-his-luck dockworker Tommy and hard-working diner waitress Gina to life in this hilarious take on jukebox musicals.

Cabaret, concert and recording artist Travis Moser makes his Green Room 42 debut with Just One Look: The Songs of Linda Ronstadt on June 20 at 7pm.

The Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance, a program within the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts at Wayne State University, is thrilled to honor Michigan native and Tony Award-winning producer of 'Hamilton,' Jeffrey Seller, with the 2019 Apple Award on Wednesday, March 27 at the Fisher Theatre.
