Wicked has been playing to ecstatic full houses at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre since it opened on 2 March. Due to demand, new performances  for WICKED have been released for sale up until 28 July, with presales beginning today and general public tickets from 12 April.

The producers of the Broadway blockbuster WICKED have announced that the musical phenomenon will fly into the Lyric Theatre, QPAC in September this year.

Generic Theater presents the regional premiere of 'The Viewing Room,' a moving comedy about a dysfunctional family saying goodbye to their patriarch. An additional preview was announced today for the upcoming Melbourne season of the spectacular musical WICKED, on Saturday 2 March at 7:30pm at the Regent Theatre. The filmed capture of the U.K. tour of Titanic the Musical is coming to theaters. The production was filmed over the summer prior to its July closing. Titanic: the Musical joins Fathom Events' exciting lineup of filmed musical theatre productions coming to theaters this fall, also including Waitress on Broadway coming to theaters in December.

What did our critic think of MEMPHIS at Town Hall? Despite the formulaic plot, it's one of those refreshing musicals that really isn't based on any prior works. With music and lyrics by David Bryan of Bon Jovi and and book by Joe DiPietro (recognizable for penning I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change), it's got an exciting and driving score, and the story is clever enough to keep the show moving nicely.
