The dancing was well choreographed, although, many numbers were very similar, presumably noting the tedium of the underworld. The use of the rotating stage was well executed, and the overall energy was high. I for one am thankful for this time, the time to sit in a sacred space and experience the undeniably beautiful event that is live theatre, and the Straz Center is the Gift that keeps on giving, not only during the holiday season but all year long. Their 2022/2023 Bank of America Broadway Season is one of the absolute best yet!

Broadway in Cincinnati announced that the individual tickets for HADESTOWN are on sale now. As part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati series presented by TriHealth, the show will play the Aronoff Center from April 18 – 30.

Lana Gordon, who previously starred as Persephone in Hadestown on Broadway (taking over the role from its originator, Amber Gray), will be joining the National Tour of Hadestown as Perseophone for a limited engagement through November 19.

HADESTOWN will make its anticipated South Florida premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County  from December 6–11, 2022.

New production photos have just been released of the Hadestown North American Tour, which has extended through Spring of 2024.

The HADESTOWN North American Tour is coming to St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 11-23, 2022. Produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy, Hadestown is the most honored show of the 2018-2019 Broadway season.

The North American Tour of Hadestown will extend through the spring of 2024, adding engagements in cities across the United States and Canada.
