Laff, the country's first-ever, over-the-air broadcast television network devoted to comedy around-the-clock, will add to its sitcom hall of fame lineup on Monday, July 16 when 3rd Rock from the Sun joins the network's schedule.

On November 15, 1949, in Hollywood, California, an up-and-coming young actress met a handsome movie star for dinner -- a blind date that changed history.

Hosted by two-time, Tony-nominated star, Laura Osnes (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella) and her own Fairy Godfairy, Benjamin Rauhala (musical director extraordinaire), the evening also stars the multitalented Susan Egan (Tony-nominated for Disney's Beauty and the Beast and voice of 'Meg' in Hercules), Courtney Reed (the original 'Jasmine' in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway), and special guest Adam Jacobs (the original 'Aladdin' in Disney's Aladdin on Broadway) as the show's Prince for the Night.

As Denver's best home for comedy and improv theater, The Voodoo Comedy Playhouse is thrilled to announce the return of Frank Conniff and Trace Beaulieu of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Shows are July 27 and July 28 at 8:00 PM. Each show features a different film.

New England's oldest and biggest comedy theater, ImprovBoston brings music improv masters and acts from around the world to Boston for a four-day musical comedy deep-dive at the New England Music Improv Experience (NEMIX). From July 5-8, international music improvisers will immerse audiences in all things music improv. Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Colin Quinn performing on Saturday, June 23, and Bobby Collins on Saturday, July 28, with both shows at 8 pm. Both performances are part of Bay Street Theater's summer Comedy Club, which brings the nation's most prominent comedians to Sag Harbor on select summer Saturdays. It has just been announced that stars Ana Gasteyer as ("Miss Hannigan') and Megan Hilty ("Lily St. Regis.") have joined the cast of the upcoming Hollywood Bowl production of ANNIE, which will take place Friday, July 27, at 8 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 8 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 7:30 pm.

America's comedy giants continue to bring the laughs to Parx Casino, Pennsylvania's #1 casino, this spring and summer. The casino's brand-new Xcite Center is set to welcome five wildly popular comedians from television and film. The casino welcomes Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood from Whose Line Is it Anyway on Friday, May 4, 2018. Next up, SNL alum, FOX News contributor, and noted comedian Dennis Miller will perform on Thursday, May 17th and NBC's Community star Joel McHale takes the mic on Friday, June 1th. In the heat of the summer, Comedy Central superstar Trevor Noah of the Daily Show comes to the Xcite Center for two shows on Saturday, August 4th. Known across the world for her powerful voice and perfect pitch, Lea Salonga has been announced for the role of Grace Farrell in Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Annie, one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history, which will be this summer's annual staged musical at the Bowl.  

SeriesFest, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to showcasing the best and boldest emerging voices in television, in partnership with Elysium Bandini Studios and Parallel Entertainment, personal management company, today announced the three finalists of this year's “Storyteller Initiative,” a program created to discover original comedy writers. They are: Juiciful, written by Courtney Bush, Jake Goicoechea and Will Carrington; Volunteered, written by Paige VanTassell; and Coupled, written by Janet Silverman.

Uptown Players and director Cheryl Denson have cast an array of celebrity divas to star in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, running July 13-July 29, 2018. Jack Donahue and Blake McIver enthusiastically come to Dallas to make their Uptown debut, leading the cast alongside Dallasites Dana Harper and Kelly Groves, bringing a wide array of illustrious performance experience to the Kalita Humphreys Theater this summer.

The Old Globe will present a free, one-night-only event to celebrate the debut of a new book by legendary Globe Associate Artist Marion Ross  titled My Days Happy and Otherwise. This evening of storytelling with Ms. Ross and Associate Artistic Director Eric Keen-Louie will take place on Monday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m., on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage of the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. My Days Happy and Otherwise, by Ms. Ross with David Laurell, and a foreword by Ron Howard, will be available for purchase after the event, and Ms. Ross will be available to sign copies.

This 2018 season, the talent performing at The RRazz Room at Mizner Park Cultural Center is a diverse mix of world class artists. Due to a scheduling conflict, performances of The Broadway Princess Party-starring two- time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde), Tony Award nominee Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Courtney Reed (Aladdin, In The Heights) and music director Benjamin Rauhala-have been moved to Saturday, June 2 (8 p.m.) and Sunday, June 3 (5 p.m.). Customers who purchased tickets for Friday, June 1 will be moved to another performance or issued a refund.
