THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, the brand-new stage musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and a book by Philip LaZebnik (Mulan, Pocahontas) and based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, today announces initial casting for its West End premiere production. Luke Brady and Liam Tamne will lead the cast as 'Moses' and 'Ramses' respectively, with Christine Allado as 'Tzipporah' and Alexia Khadime as 'Miriam'. Further casting to be announced.

Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating 35 seasons as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, continues its main stage season with 'Shrek the Musical,' a hilarious fairy tale adventure based on the beloved animated film and children's book, playing July 26 to August 10. Staged on the grounds of the Richter House Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury, performances take place outdoors under the stars Friday through Sunday evenings, with additional specially discounted performances on Thursday August 1 and 8.

For the first time ever, Sony Pictures' classic film, Ghostbusters, is coming to “Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort – bringing the most memorable scenes, characters and supernatural spirits from one of pop culture's most iconic films to life in immersive mazes based off the 1984 classic at the nation's premier Halloween events, starting this September.

Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group has announced the full cast of MADAGASCAR: A MUSICAL ADVENTURE, its maiden production for Atlantis Imaginarium Young Theatre. The show, based on the hit Dreamworks animated feature film of the same name will open on August 2, 2019, at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The Ogunquit Playhouse is thrilled to present the Junior Player's production of the modern Disney classic Frozen, Jr. for six performances! The enchanting musical is based on the 2018 Broadway hit, and brings Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the magical land of Arendelle to life! The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production. Frozen, Jr. tells the story of true love and acceptance between sisters, and expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and lots of humor, Frozen, JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

The Playhouse Youth Company at Bucks County Playhouse will present a one-hour, family-friendly adaptation of the Broadway musical "Shrek, Jr." tailored especially for young audiences. The show will run July 24 - August 3, 2018, on the Bucks County Playhouse stage. There are evening performances on Wednesday, July 24 and Sunday, July 28 at 7:30 pm. Daytime performances are July 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and August 1, 2 and 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Adirondack Theatre Festival Producing Artistic Director, Chad Rabinovitz, announces the third show of the 2019 season, Sequence. The show runs July 23 - 27, 2019 at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Downtown Glens Falls, NY. Ben Mingay and Lucy Durack will play the lead roles of Shrek and Princess Fiona in the lavish and fun multi-million dollar musical comedy SHREK THE MUSICAL, Australia's leading theatre producer John Frost announced today. It was also announced that Australian musical royalty Marcia Hines would play the role of the Dragon in a special guest appearance for the Sydney season.
