Beetlebung Road LLC, a new theater production company, will launch November 15 to December 9 with a bi-coastal production of Sam Shepard's 'Fool for Love,' to be presented November 15 to December 2 by Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., Manhattan and December 6 to 9 by The Lounge Theatre, 6201 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles. The production, directed by Kymberly Harris, will arise from a careful artistic process of immersion on many levels. The company chose to debut at Theater for the New City (TNC) as part of that process: to honor and recapture the path of Shepard's 'Buried Child,' which was commissioned by TNC and premiered there in 1978.

Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, celebrating its roots in the film and television recording industry, presents LACO @ the Movies: Buster Keaton's The General, featuring Emmy Award-winning composer Jeff Beal (House of Cards) conducting the world premiere of his score for the 1926 silent classic spotlighting the absurdity of war on Saturday, November 11, 2017, 8 pm, at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, in downtown Los Angeles. Currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, LACO was founded in 1968 as an artistic outlet for the recording industry's most gifted musicians. Considered among the greatest films ever made, the historical parody was adapted from The Great Locomotive Chase and is set during the Civil War. The producers of Beau Willimon's Broadway-bound play The Parisian Woman, starring Uma Thurman, announced today that the show will play at Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th St.), with previews beginning on Tuesday, November 7. As previously announced, it will open on Thursday, November 30.
