To celebrate its upcoming 20th Anniversary on Monday, October 30th, the Broadway blockbuster WICKED is partnering with several local restaurants and bars with special WICKED-themed creations to help ring in the anniversary celebration.

From June 8 through August 10, Classic American Tales (CAT) is presenting 'Tales at the Dormer House,' formerly known as 'Tales of the Victorians' and 'Tales in the Backyard' when previously produced by East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC).  Guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories by American authors like O. Henry, Zora Neale Hurston, and Mark Twain.

I decided to speak with Romy Nordlinger, the playwright and performer of Garden of Alla in which she shares the life of Alla Nazimova, a Jewish immigrant from Tsarist Russia who became a Broadway and silent film superstar, visionary Hollywood director and producer, LGBTQIA trailblazer, and creator of the hotel which became world famous on many levels, both famous and infamous.
