A sensation in the clubs and virtual shows, Kenn Boisinger will return to the West Bank Cafe's cabaret theater, The Laurie Beechman, for a special Christmas show on December 12th.

While I have my music-nerd quibbles, this is pretty damn good for a non-union touring production.

The North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will make its Wilmington premiere at The Playhouse on Rodney Square on December 4 & 5, for a two-matinee engagement. Tickets for SUMMER are on sale now and start at $30.

The North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will make its Detroit premiere at the Fisher Theatre, March 8 – 20, 2022. Tickets start at $39 and will go on sale on Friday, November 26, 2021 online at Ticketmaster.com and in person at the Fisher Theatre Box Office.

The non-Equity North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical returns to the road TONIGHT with official tour opening in Pittsburgh, PA at the Benedum Center (November 16-21, 2021). The tour will then visit more than 40 cities for the 2021-22 touring season.

Waitress entered the American zeitgeist as a somber, dark movie at Sundance years ago. The present producers of the musical had the vision to purchase the rights. They also had connections with celebrated Broadway director and Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (HAIR, PIPPIN) and Grammy Award winner – and feminist hero - Sara Bareillus who transformed it into a hilarious and beloved hit musical.

Previews begin tonight, Thursday, November 11, 2021, for A Sherlock Carol written and directed by Mark Shanahan (The Dingdong, A Merry Little Christmas Carol; NPR’s Ghost Light Series). 

In celebration of its 300 issue, Out Magazine is having a weeklong celebration with new covers being unveiled each day. Today, it was revealed that Broadway veteran, and star of the upcoming West Side Story film, Ariana DeBose, is the last of the six covers to be featured.

Thanks to the immense generosity of Tatiana and Gerret Copeland, The Playhouse on Rodney Square has undergone a complete renovation during its extended closure of indoor performances.

Stellar Originals and Atomic Focus Entertainment announced today that the season finale of Brian Stokes Mitchell’s innovative talk show “Crossovers Live! will take place on December 20th. Brian’s special guests for the Holiday Finale will be Audra McDonald and Ariana DeBose.

Roundabout Theatre Company has released a first look portrait of the cast of the Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress, starring Tony & Emmy Award-winner LaChanze and directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.

The Straz Center is preparing to welcome fans back to the theatre for its Broadway series, beginning next week. The 2021-22 season will kick off on October 26 with Tootsie. Future shows include Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Pretty Woman, Frozen, and more!

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that the Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress, is partnering with radio station 107.5 WBLS-FM, the nation’s most recognizable Black radio station, offering 300 tickets at $19.57 to every preview performance in every section of the theater. 

Mrs. Doubtfire returns to previews on Broadway, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, starring Rob McClure in the title role. Learn more about the cast here!

Broadway In Boston has announced that the North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical, will make its Boston premiere at Emerson Colonial Theatre.  This limited two-week engagement will play February 22 – March 6, 2022 as part of the upcoming Lexus Broadway In Boston Season. 

The Outlore will present Divine Intervention, the brand new singing trio sent from above, and they're here to pay tribute to the greatest divas of all time. Catch them at The Drama Factory performing some of the greats; Whitney Houston, Cher, Donna Summer, Madonna, and many more. Performances are October 22-24

FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present The Music of Ben Caplan: Heart Of The Moment on November 12th, 2021, at 9:45pm. 

The long-awaited Michael Anthony Theatrical production of 'The Music of: Ghost, The Musical' is finally haunting The Green Room 42 this fall for a one night only engagement. Ghost the musical premiered at the Manchester Opera House before transferring to the West End and on Broadway, both having successful runs.
