Audience members of all ages hurried eagerly into Beef & Boards on Saturday night, my wife and I included, with dreams of a fun evening ahead but unsure of what would take place. We've all seen the movie, especially with being from Indiana. The orchestra began to play the overture, and the show began. We quickly found out that the next two hours would be filled with hilarity and delight. From the very first song, Counting Down to Christmas, we knew that we would be in good hands watching A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL.

The world premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact officially opened on Broadway last night, October 18 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). BroadwayWorld was there, and you can check out photos from the red carpet below!

When the Theatre on the Square closed the Indy theatre community couldn't help but worry and speculate about what would happen next. It breathed a collective sigh of relief when the building was saved. Now named The District Theatre, the Mass Ave space opens its doors with the musical Forbidden Broadway.

One bride, one mom, and three potential dads all on one Greek island; the premise of Mama Mia! might seem silly, but its playful absurdity provides the right framework for a musical built around ABBA songs. Beef & Board Dinner Theatre's current production captures that spirit and runs with it.

A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. A trip down the aisle no one will soon forget! It all adds up to one feel-good Broadway hit: Mamma Mia!, the first musical and headliner of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre's 45th Anniversary Season, is now on stage through April 8.
